My child is on a vegetarian diet and doesn't eat meat at all and never has. She is 15 months. We've occassionally eaten fish but as a choice are now giving it up too. I only worry about her iron and calcium intakes. We eat lots of green leaves and she has cereal with soy milk. I am looking for calcium supplements and perhaps a multivitamin but atm I live o/s where I have to look hard to find them.
However, overall I wouldn't worry about no meat. Plenty of children are raised vegetarian. You just have to be a more thoughtful about their foods or make sure they get plenty of greens and beans, like kidney beans, soy beans, black eyed peas etc.

It isn't really a problem. I know when I was a baby, I refused to eat meat. I loved my olives and other odd foods, but refused meat and cows milk.
I always enjoyed most vege's and if you just offer him meat occasionally, he will eat it when he is ready. In the meantime, just make sure he gets his protein and vitamins through eggs, and veggies.
Good luck.

Yes blend it, mash it, hide it anyway you can! If that doesn't work don't be to concerned if he's eating mushroom and beans etc he should be fine. I used to blend mine in a food processor then mix it in with the vegies. Good luck!

Blend some meat up into his pasta or try more blended finer meats, like mince, chicken mince etc, if all else fails, keep trying until he is interested in meat again, my son is the opposite he hates vegies :(

how old is your son?
i dont think it is a problem as long as he is getting lots of vegetables. my son went through a stage when he refused meat but is quite happy to eat it now.
