I am wondering if anyone had any problems with the baby descending into your pelvic area for birth due to SPD? I have been having a lot of sharp pains and what not and im not sure if its his head on my cervix or if its on my pelvis area. Im worried he is struggling getting in there. Let me know your experiences. I am 36wks pregnant today!

Thanks ladies. I go tomorrow to get checked. Im hoping the Dr will be able to tell me what station Im at and if he is in fact descending. Im worried his head is getting stuck due to the malposition of my pelvic bones and its preventing him from fully descending. We shall see tomorrow I guess. Hopefully the pains are him on my cervix and he has in fact already dropped. With both pregnancies, my son and then this new baby, they drop sloooooowwly! so I dont notice a drastic change cuz it happens so gradual. Hopefully my worries will subside. For right now my SPD has been Ok, just mostly hurts at night time when im on my side but my sacroiliac joints are off the hook lately and causing such severe pain I cry. I have a new Dr tomorrow because my old retired randomly. yay. So I hope they take me seriously. Also babies size is on the rather large side.

Yeah it is tough for that last month. Baby just wants out and is getting ready. My first son sat so low for the last month I thought he was gonna fall out lol. It is very uncomfortable and I know this is the rough part of being pregnant but once your little one is out life is wonderful.

You will have those pains cause it is him making his way down there. There is nothing to worry about till you start feeling like you need to push. The sharp pains are NORMAL but can hurt. Just relax and stay seated when you feel the pain and wait till it passes to get up again. I hope this helps!
