Hello ladies. I created this community for networking purposes so that we ask advice of local mothers and organize get togethers with other moms. I thought that this could be a wonderful resource for finding local babysitters, and getting opinions for things like local daycares and doctors. I hope that this becomes something resourceful for all mothers, both working and stay at home. Thank you for your association to this community and I look forward to what this community has to offer.

I just joined this group this evening and realize some of these posts are from a long time ago. Did you guys ever do any get togethers? Are there any moms in this group that live near South Tampa/downtown/Seminole Heights?

I would love to meet some new mommies as well! It would be nice to have playdates for my 18 month old son and some grown-up conversations! My husband works 2 jobs and always seems to be gone. I am a stay-at-home working mom. I joined MOPS at my church but they won't be meeting over the summer so I need to find a different avenue to meet other moms.

Hi Christina, are you are anyone still having any get togethers? I am moving down late June and will be looking for groups to join with baby as I will be a stay at home mommy, and would like to get involved with familes and any other socialble events/volunteering... let me know, thanks a million and have a great day!

Hi all! My family and I just moved to Tampa 9 months ago and I'm finding it hard to meet mom's up here! I would love to do a get together as Christina has suggested!!

I wanted to organize a get together at a Park in Tampa, probably a park like Lettuce Lake, Al Lopez, or Lowry Park. I wanted to know if you ladies would attend? I was thinking that everyone could bring something to share and drinks for you and your children. I am shooting for Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 1 PM.



I encourage you to bring a friend(s) and your children. At that time I would like to discuss the things that our members would like this community to be involved with and would like posted. I welcome your thoughts and ideas. This is also a great way to get more people signed up and involved in this online community which I hope will evolve to a community that is well recognized by the Tampa Bay Area. I have long term goals for this community, but would like your feedback and help.
