Hi!! My son is 8 months old and a few weeks ago I found out I'm pregnant (which is a really good thing since my husband and I wanted another baby)...BUUUT I'm pumping for my 8 month old (have been doing it practically since birth since he could never latch). I have never used formula with him and hope we could keep this way AT LEAST till his one. Unfortunately my milk supply has dropped like crazy... it doesn't matter if I pump more or more often, the milk doesn't increase... any ideas??? I'm kind of scared because I read in kellymom that sometimes when you get pregnant your milk supply goes down and there's not much to do about it...I heard oatmeal can help so I'm giving it a try, but if you know of anything else, please help me out!

if you can buy online here is where i would go: http://www.motherlove.com/product/320-Mo...

Some herbs are not safe while pregnant but this is made specifically for nursing while pregnant mothers. Fennel is NOT safe, fenugreek is NOT! Mother's milk tea is NOT safe while pregnant either.

Nettle up to 2 capsules 3 times a day
Dill up to 2 ml tincture 3 times a day
Marshmallow up to 4 capsules 3 times a day
are all safe.

Aicha:

no, I haven't tried it... I live in Chile (S. America) and we don't have too many products related to lactation. :(
