turtle motif wrapping paper could cover your front door? the mail box? your table...

How about a turtle cookie cutter, make your own cookies and decorate away! Frosting dyed green, M&M's...jelly beans, red hots, skittles, food coloring and a toothpick for drawing eyes...I would have GREAT fun with this!

I might experiment with this some...trying to find a healthy AND yummy cookie, Oatmeal maybe? That might make a nice lumpy round turtle back...maybe raisins could create the lump on the turtle's back...I dunno, I'd have to be standing there with it to brainstorm.

A pack of cheap white tshirts, (or onesies) iron on a cute turtle design and then set the kids free with fingerpaints, tshirt paints or markers. Sounds messy, but fun!

Stain vanilla pudding with green food coloring and call it turtle soup.

Wander through the bath departments when you shop....You might find something turtle related in the bathroom stuff that could be helpful. (I keep leaning towards a shower curtain for that messy fingerpaint)

Here is a nice recipe for an icecream grasshopper (for the grownups) I suggested the icecream version because the party is in May...that cool drink might be perfect! You could call it turtle pee...or turtle smoothies...It's green, use your imagination.

You say it's a backyard party...Grilling hamburgers and hotdogs? Shape the burgers like turtles with feet and a head sticking out. Do they still sell that disgusting looking GREEN ketchup?

Last time I was in Joanne's fabric and crafts store, I saw some AWESOME turtle print fabrics. (I noticed them special because I call my son turtle too :-) Maybe some special slip covers for the lawn chairs, or sew cute matching shirts for you and the baby, Maybe a length of cloth for your table cloth...

It's been a while since I was in a Pier 1, but they used to carry some baskets that looked like a turtle...they might be cool for serving food or treats at the party, if you can find them there anymore.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.
