Any ideas where a good place would be to have my son's first birthday party at? Since my apartment is way to small to have both sides of the family here..??

When is your son's birthday? If its in the summer, maybe you could have a garden party at a grandparents house or the local park! If it's soon and too cold for that there are a lot of indoor activity places you can book. I'm not too sure where you live but here in Milton Keynes, England, we have one called Gymboree and it is great for young toddlers and parents to interact together.

The main thing to remember is your childs 1st birthday is more about you than them, they dont know whats going on and will neva remember. I know how you feel tho, it's nice to celebrate, it wudn't be rite if you didn't, so for my daughters 1st birthday we had my parents and my husbands parents and my 2 brothers and sister squeezer inot our tiny flat for an hour and had a mini party!:)
