ever since last night i've been having period like cramping every thirty min to an hour. idk if it's just braxton hicks or possibly real labor! can anyone describe what real labor srysly feels like?

i suffered from a lot of braxton hicks .. on new years day they were so bad i thought it was the real thing.

to me labour felt like really really bad period pain that increased over time and i had horrible back ache.

believe me you think that you won't but its true that when its the real thing you will know it!

you'll know when you'r in labour, you'll start spotting and the pain will keep getting worse not stay the same. I kinda had the same thing but not at 33 weeks. hope all goes welland congrats!

If your are spotting then you should see the doctor. I had a placenta previa with my second child and I was cramping and had spotting. They found out that she was sitting on top of the placenta and as she got bigger she added weight to the placenta. All was well in the end. I also had braxton hicks with my first and it was uncomfortable and I truly thought that he was coming but now knowing what real labor feels like it totally was not what I was feeling.
There really is no way to describe the feeling without scaring you half to death. Just keep in mind that it does not last forever and when it's over you will understand.
Please see the doctor and you will be in my prayers.

if they are consistence then it could be the beginning of labor as doctor's describe it but don't start to worry too much until you start to have them almost every 5 mins apart

Really every labor is different. My beginning labor felt like lower back pain aka period cramps and they just kept getting worse.. it was constant and never let up. Finally I started having sharp pains every 2 minutes and that was when the nurse discovered I was dilated to 2. This was pretty much how my labor was. Braxton Hicks is described as lower back pain so I don't know how to tell the difference from those or labor contractions since I never had anything before I was in labor. Hope it helps!!
