Can any one tell me what this could be my vagina is sore i am 34weeks pregnant my vagina is sore and it herts when i lift my foot sometimes and when i even turn on my side

I had this - it turned out to be E.P.D which is (i dont know what the E stands for) Pubis Disfunction where the cartalage in the front or the back of your pelvis has eroded and because of the weight of the baby, is putting a lot of pressure on your pelvis. Talk to your midwife and she should refer you to a physiotherapist to help with the pain :)

i had the same problem and the doctor told me itwas from the baby pushing down and your body getting ready for the birth...i wouldnt be worried i had that pain for almost a month

from my experience i could say (for me) the begining of my pregnancy i had a (what i think is)a similar pain and it turnd out i had a benine tumor on my ovary and they did surgery but that was only because of th severe pain and i was 16 weeks along and dialated 2 cm. near the end of my pregnancy though i just needed my back cracked. they sent me to a chiropractor and it helped so much.

sounds like ur getting ready for labor.i had that for days before my son was born.had contractions 4 days.my water started leaking on the 2nd day.so my best bet is your getting ready for labor.i give it a week.maybe 2.good luck

yeaa im 34 weeks and have the same problem i got it cheked out and my doctor told me it was normal just everything softening for the baby to come out but if u are really worried ask the midwife next visit :)

i also had the same thing..it was so bad that it hurt to pee...my daughter was pushing my insides down on my nerves..but were both fine

I had this problum for a couple of days, and then i had my child. just try to take a warm bath, that should help to relax you.

its where the baby has dropped and is either in position to get ready to come out or is getting into position i went thru the same thing. i could hardly walk or even just move it hurt so bad. but goodluck and congratulations

ok so your symptoms could actually be from a number of things. i had the same problem and it turns out that i had a bacterial infection of the vagina. it's really common in pregnant women and can cause premature labor if not treated. more than likely if you tell your doctor that your pelvic area is sore she will give you a down there examination. this is my third infection in my pregnancy and i'm currently taking an intra-vaginal antibiotic gel called metronidazole. nothing can prevent the infection, it's caused from the ph being off in your vagina. i found that after completing the course of antibiotics my soreness was gone. i'm also 35 weeks pregnant, so you and i are in the same boat! good luck :)

i had this it turned out i had dislocated my pelvis, they put it back in for me but 2 days later it popped out again and the babies head had moved down so there was nothing they could do then until i gave birth, if i was you id get your midwife to check you out quickly before your babies head gets into place!

I had the same problem. What I was told by my doctor is that my cartilage in my pelvic area was softening to prepare my body for giving birth. I think that it hurts so badly because you're bearing all the weight of your child on your soft cartilage. I could hardly turn from side to side in bed for like the last month of my pregnancy. I had a hard time even picking my foot up off the ground 2 inches. It also hurt really bad to walk. In my opinion I would not be worried, sounds pretty normal to me. If you are really worried you should talk to your Doctor. Best wishes and congratulations!
