no my little cousin is the same age and she is 12 - 18 months old clothes there is nothing wrong all babys are different and all thin out eventual as long as she healthy wen she starts walking and tht she ll thin right out x

Its totally normal! My son is 7 months old wearing 24 mo and some 2-3T!!! He's got a belly so the pants are too small and leave marks and he's really tall 30in, 30lbs at 7 months! Don't worry let her grow! Companies don't really know how all babies will be at certain ages so they just average :)

My son was the same way! Now that he's running around (he's two now) he's really slimmed down, but he's still wearing bigger cothes. I think it's normal, and the doc says she's healthy, I wouldn't worry about this.

my son is 7 months and he wears 9-12m clothes, hes always been a couple months infront.. took him to get weighed and he is 20lb, doctor said he is fine though.

clothing sizes are all different, my daugher has always been small for her age but at 16 months and only just around 10kg she is in size 1 to 2.

i wouldnt worry darl, my son is exactly the same. here in aust our sizings are diff but when my son was 6-8 months he was in a size 0 now at 9 months his in a size 0 to nearly size 1 (12 months). every clothes brand is different :) and it depends on babys height :)

My daughter did the same because she was tall and chunky. She is now overweight at 3 and we are working on that. She wears 4-5 yr old clothing. She is about 38 inches tall and about 40lbs, but she has been slimming down.

Totally normal. Alot of clothes are made differently. My daughter was a year old and wearin 18 month/24 month clothes. my 6 month old can wear 12 month clothes too. my oldest is 2 and wearin 3t. all kids are different.

Don't worry about that my 1st daughter was always a size bigger then her age when she was 6 months she wore 9-12 months my Dr.s always told me she was over weight and need to watch out she is still a big girl she is 3 1/2 and wears a size 6 in little girls. They tell me she has to go on a diet but she eats perfectly fine fruits veggies hardly any sugar it is just how she carries it.

Don't worry ! My Daughter is 21 months and she is wearing everything from an 18 months to a size 3t ! It goes by weight.

yes. different companies have different sizes. my son will be 9 months tomorrow and while he doesn't meet the weight requirements for larger sizes, because he is tall he fits clothes anywhere from 12 mos to 24 mos depending on the store.

Don't worry about it they make the clothing smaller these days. My son was a big baby and he was waering bigger clothes then that by the time he was 8 months old. If your doctor says she is healthy then shes healthy

my son is almost 9 months and at 8 months we had to put him in 12 month clothing and i thought it was bad! but my niece was the same way and she stayed in 12 month clothing and she is 13 months now!

My 9 month old is wearing 18 month clothes & even some 24 month ones! She started wearing 12 month clothes at 7 months.

I wouldn't worry about it, sizes are only a guidline. My daughter that is 2 wears 2T-3T, and my son that is 10months wears 12months-24months/2T. And this is considering both my kids are average, a little on the tall side, but not by much and they're average with their weight. So all is good, i agree whoever invented clothing sizes must have never had kids, they never add up right to how they should!

Dont' worry bout it! My son was in 12-18 months clothes by the time he was 6 mlonths. He was a monster! Then he hit 8 months and stopped growing until about a month ago when he hit 14 months. All kids grow differently, and in my opinion the people who size baby clothes are on crack and have never had kids! lol

Lol.The others are right, it's nothing to worry about. My daughter is in the 50th percentile for height & weight which is supposed to be "average" but she's actually kind of small for her age. she's a year old & wears mostly 12mo. clothes but some 6-9 & even 18mo. stuff fits her. & for the most part so far when she was like 3 months she JUST started fitting into 0-3 clothes but on the other hand some of the 6-9 clothes already fit her... it just depends on the company that makes the clothes & how big your kid is. my cousins 2 year old is still wearing nothing but 12month clothes. so it's no biggie really.

my son will be 1 on june 14 and he is wearing anywhere from 12 months to 2t clothes...he has always been in bigger clothes...so dont worry! (by the way...he is almost 1 and weighs 27 lbs...his 2 year old brother only weighs 30 lbs. lol)

its like adults though .. you could buy a perfect size of size 10 jeans at one shop but in another shop they could be as big as a size 14 or as small as a size 6.

Haha, do NOT worry about this. Clothing sizes for babies are really vague and only a guideline. It goes generally by weight. My daughter fits into every range of clothes from 3 months to 12 months. Some outfits listed as 0-3 months fit her for some reason, while some that are listed as 6-9 months are too big, and most 12 month dresses fit her (she's 11 months old and about 18 pounds, but very tall). Always hold the clothing up to the baby and make sure it all fits. i.e.: the sleeves reach the hands, the onesie buttons on the bottom actually reach to the end of or past the crotch, that the torso fabric stretches to the width of the baby's torso. . . I never go by the listed months, I go by intuition now. Haha.
