I know, I love that name. That's been our problem though. Nobody knows how to pronounce it. I always thought it was pretty simple but it's funny listening to people's guesses.

My son's name is Dante Richter and I have yet to meet someone with a similar name. His first name is more popular than I originally thought but the middle name came from a game that my boyfriend loves. I liked the sound of it, and now we can't imagine him being called anything else.

i have a 7 year old little girl and her name is Dahlia. She is names after my favorite flower. when she was in daycare they wld call me to come get her and they wld just say "u need to come get ur child" because they cldnt pronounce her name. I also have a 5 year old little boy with the name Price. His name is pretty uncommon that i know of. He is name after my father and every male born into the family. It is my families last name. My youngest is Brayden. I hear that name everywhere..

My son's name is Jayden Lee, when we first found out we were having a boy we only knew one other Jayden then it became more and more popular. I recently found my sister and found out that she has 2 kids, Alysha (A-lee-sha) and Jaiden and one of my friends has a son called Kaiden and the other Alyssia. Before we knew we were having a boy we also thought of girls names, Kaycie, Kelsey, Alexia/Alexis, Kyla/Kyra, Skye and i also like Kayleigh :)

My little girl who is almost a year, is named Brynnelynne Alyxandria (pronounced: bren-lynn alex-andria). Expecting another one in a couple months (find out the sex in two weeks). If it's a boy, it's going to be Riot Alyxander and not sure on the girls first name yet, but Alyxia will be her middle name. (: Still looking for something unique that sticks with me and my fiance.

My daughter's name is Julianni Denisse-Love (2 weeks old). And it's a pain when everyone thinks her name is Julianna and i have to correct them and tell them that her name ends in an "i" and not an "a".

My son's name is Zackeri Evin, and when he was first born everybody constantly said his name like Zachariah and i always had to correct them as well. It was quite irritating.

A couple that I go to church with have two boys with uncommon names. They are Stiles Riley (pronounced styles) and Slaytor. My grandfather's middle name is Steele, which I think is uncommon as well. As far as girls names go, my grandmother had a pretty unique name, it was Zula Ivalee.

we're naming our boy Raith Wyatt, i've heard Wyatt a few times, but never Raith...i'm sure after ours, we'll here it more, cuz that's usually how it works, but we were looking up unique names on the internet, Rafe popped up, i liked it, but my husbands step-grandma said, what about Raith instead, && we both really liked it, so it worked out, but if it's not popular now, it will be after you name him/her, cuz that's how ppl hear about it...(: i like your boy's name, too, though, but see, i never would have thoguht about it if i hadn't seen your post...(:

We have four kids all with simple, but uncommon names. Except for #3. Corben was very uncommon when he was born, then Highschool Musical came out when he was a toddler and now there's a lot of Corbin's thanks to one of the main actors- Corbin Bleu. His spelling is still uncommon but the name itself has shot up the list. You can find rankings at http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/
