My daughter has two middle names and I think one of them is pretty rare. I don't know anyone with that name and I've never seen it before. The one I'm referring to is Saryn. I found it in a baby name book I have and in the book it's spelled Seren. I preferred the y, so I changed the spelling to Saryn. It means "star".

My sons name is Silas Oliver Clay silas means of woods oliver means elf king and clay is his daddys middle name. i dont think ive ever met anyone else whose babys name is silas but ive heard of a few people that do. Silas's name is also biblical and supposedly he was sent to prison for preaching what he believed and continued to preach even in prison. "god" then set him and the prisoners free because he convinced him. or something to that degree im not religious but my dad is and i think for my dads sake ill continue to tell the story. My son was also born 3 months early and hes a fighter and has been since he was born. so i know his name is strong.

Our son's first name is Noble. :) I thought of it when I was researching the name Noah and saw how common a name it is in the US. I think the word Noble was in there somewhere and it just clicked. It apparently is hardly ever used, in anywhere in the world. lol. It's a more common last name. I looked up some definitions and felt that it would be the perfect name (strong, honorable and full of meaning).

We hate common names, both my husband and I have really common names. Our oldest is Lulu Rose. My middle daughter is Brooke Lee.... unfortunately.... we lost on that one since everyone named their daughter Brooke that year. My youngest is Rose Lynn... and we haven't really had any encounters with any Rose's her age.

I wouldnt say that my 4 daughters have unique names, more like traditional but not heard often, with the exception of my 3rd, which has become much more popular recently. They are Cassidy, Tessa, Chloe and Sadie. I wanted to name my 4th daughter Eleanor Olivia (Ella for short) (after my grandmother and my hubby's grandmother) but my DH said no way. Ella turned out to be hugely popular, anyway!

I chose Skylar for my daughter - there were very few at the time I named her...also a boys name spelled differently...Skyler. A good friend combined she and her husband's name to create a name for their first son - Kalan....

my daughter's name is Emeline Grace. I have never heard of anyone else with that name. I was a young girl and God put the name in my head. When I was 18, a doctor told me that because of a medical condition I most likely would be unable to have children. I held onto that name as a promise from God. When I was 24, I got pregnant and immediately knew that it would be a girl and that would be her name. It means "admiring the grace of God".

My daughter Lylah (Lie-la) was named after a TV show character, Lyla Garrity off of Friday Night Lights. Her middle name is a combination of DH and my mothers (Carol and Lynn). Our second princess Elaina ( Eee-laina) Maryon was named after all four of her great-grandmothers, (Elaine, Mary, Marilyn and Sharon). Now if we ever have a third girl I have no more family names LOL!!!

We named our second son Iorek MacLean. Iorek is the bear from the movie The Golden Compass & our little one is quiet a bear!! I am from the Scottish clan MacLean, so that's where his middle name came from. We are expecting again. If it's twin girls it will be Estrid & Odewyn. If it's twin boys it will be Odin & Eeros. I've never met a child with any of those names!! We picked those names because our first son is Alexander & we wanted the other children to have equally strong names & begin with vowels. And with the last name of Zickefoose....it's going to be weird no matter what :P

My daughter's name is Zaria, I've yet to find someone else with the same name. We "modified" her name from one of my favorite Olympic skating stars from Russia (Etakterina Gordeeva). When I was younger, saw her daughter and her name was Daria, since our last name starts with D I felt having initials DD may be a bit too strong and I've always liked Z names so we thought to modify the name and since she's been born, we've gotten so many compliments on her name :)

The most unique name I've ever heard was Xio (Zee-o) for a girl. A friend of mine named he oldest daughter Saranda. She told me that it was a family name. I've only met one other person with that name and it was spelled Ceranda. My grandfather was Chester Kize and went by Kize. The only other person that I know that has that name is my cousin. Very unique names.
