My son's name is Keahi (Kay-ah-he) James. James is very common but i haven't met any other mother's whose child's name is Keahi. His dad is hawaiian so we looked through a book of hawaiian names and found Keahi which means "flames" and we both fell in love with it! He looks like a Keahi too, so it all works out. [:

all my kids have uncommon names. my daughters are Jolie, Adah, and Zoey. I have met no Adahs and no Jolies but a few Zoeys. my sons are Brennan and Caiden, only met 1 other Brennan and no Caidens. I came up with the names by browsing baby name books and falling love with uncommon names. my husband loves the names too! i also wanted uncommon names for my kids because my name is Ella and growing up i knew nobody else with that named and i loved it!

my 2 1/2 year old g/b twins names are Heidi Jenea and Valen Michael Heidi came from great grandma dads side Jenea came from Jean (my middle name) and Renea my cousin that died 4 days before they were born Valen was my grandpas name and Michael is after my cousin that died and their dad

Oliver Charles. :) I suppose the definition of 'unique' depends... since both are old names... but I have only known one oliver in my entire life... And very few people seem to support the name choice. We're actually not telling anymore family since his mom got him upset by disapproving .. Oliver was chosen by my BF and its kinda got a weird ring to it that i like (tho i cant quite believe it) .. And charles is my grandfathers name and we figured it sounds 'fancy' lol.

We named our son Hale (hail) Ryan. Hale is a fairly common lastname but I have yet to meet or hear of anyone with it for their first name and he is 2. no one liked it before he was born but we stuck with it and it's perfect. he just started saying his own name this week and it comes out really cute because he has trouble saying his 'L' still :) I love Raiden btw!

We named our youngest Winston. It's not unknown but it's very uncommon now. Our oldest is Gavin which we thought was uncommon at the time, but we hear it a lot more now and he's 3yrs old.

Isn't finding a name that 'fits' tough?? My eldest wasn't named for 2 days! until we found one that suited him. So - my kids are:
Duke Arthur B......
Beckham (Beck) Kruse B......
Caymen Howard B....... (my amazing stepson)
I receive compliments on their names every day. If Duke was a girl, he would have been Violet Anais (I had the name before Ben and Jen!! lol). My stepson is named Caymen - a name that is so awesome and also be used for a girl. :)

My daughter will be Lydia Fey Echo.
My husband really likes 'Echo' for a girls name, but I wouldn't let him use it as a first. After months of searching, 'Lydia' was the only 1st name we both like.
'Fey' just..sort of came up on its own. We're not sure why exactly. xD
