just make sure you stick to the same timings for everything every night! dinner at certain time, bath at certain time and bed at the same time every night!! she will get used to it and then finally sleep well!! x

yeah just like Amber said, there isnt much you can do but be persistant. My 20 months old slept in our room til she was a year old and woke up at least 3-4 times a night. we finally just stuck her in her own room and let her cry it out, and now around 8 she is WANTING to go to sleep. Even if i dont say anything, she knows what time it is and starts crying and saying "night night". i have never actually met a child that wants to go to sleep. But yeah just be very persistant and like Amber said leaving them there to cry it out will not hurt them and will not make them feel neglected.

There isnt really alot you can do..just be persistant. My son now goes to sleep on his own and hes 13months. If she wakes, go back upstairs tuck her in and then leave her. It wont hurt her to cry for a little while and will help tire her out. She will get used 2 it in time, and then as soon as you put her in her bed when its bedtime she will fall asleep. Don't worry about leaving her a while, it wont hurt her and it wont make her feel neglected, it will jus help her understand when its bedtime.
