Autism linked to immunizations?

I have worked on childrens wards and seen the effects of these diseases on non vaccinated kids.Not a pretty sight,believe me.The risk to your child is minimal.The risk of blindness,deafness and permenant brain damage,even death to your child is very high should they contract them.Now ask yourself,which would you prefer?The media always hypes up any downsides but nothing is mentioned about the thousands that have have no adverse reactions. Autism,like many other medical words is an "umbrella" word that covers a huge range of thing and it is so easy for the medical people to use them because they dont know the cause of the illness.Do your homework on this,you will be suprised!

Yea that is true, but it is a toss up to get it or not cuz if you dont then they might get the sickness it fights off or it could cause autism. My son is 23 months and when it came time for that shot i was hesitant to get it but he ended up getting the shot and he is fine today. Its a tough discussion but do what you think is best...

to people's commits on getting other people's kids sick>>> if your kid is vaccinated, they shouldn't get sick, right? if they are really working properly! and to the commit on the diseases spreading>>> do more research, before some of the vaccines were invented, some of the disease had already slowed down and are now starting back up more since vaccines. only some vaccines are really worth it, one example is polio! i definitely understand that one! just some more fyi!

actually my cousin's daughter who right after receiving the mmr vaccine, started acting different and is now autistic. they have researched and found that it was from the shot. i also as a child had issues with the vaccines including severe ear infections that lasted a year that they just kept pumping me up with antibiotics that will would help then the ear infection would come back right back. my mom also had seizures after receiving her shots and when she went to college and receiving her school shots, she became extremely sick and it almost messed her up from finishing school. if people would research what is in the shots and how much the side affects are not reported, they might reconsider the scheduling of the shots. when deciding on vaccinating, do research, please!!!! don't just to what everybody does or what everybody says to do. always research anything you do like that. so many of the health issues that we have nowadays are linked back to the shots just fyi... and remember that everybody reacts different to the shots. just because one person gets ear infections from them like i, does not mean everybody will. some people have worse things happen then that and some none at all! if some people didn't have anything happen to their kids from them, that's awesome! but don't brag, cuz you don't know what health issues they will have later in life. by the way, there are things you can do to protect your kids if you don't vaccinate or only do some!

im getting my child immunized. the previous studies that found the link between autism and immunizations were poorly conducted and have been many times disproved. to the people on here who are placing blame.... "its people like you that keep illness around".......this person was asking a question out of concern for her child. you are rude.

you will find when someone has a dissabled child they look for some one to blame autisum doesnt show up in a child untill they are allmost two thats why people tend to think it was the mmr needle i was scared to but i looked right into it and i came to the conclushion that it was best to have my daughter imunised i couldnt live with my self if my daughter go sick because or roumors and i would hate to make someone elses baby sick

My daughter is going to be 2 in september and I waited till she was 19 months old to get the MMR shot, she is absolutely fine. Also I think the whole thing about autism and vaccines is nothing but lies, I believe that if they test the parents with autistic children they will probally find a gene that one of the parents posse and that is what causes the autism not the vaccines. Like some ppl are saying its not good to stop vaccinating your child that could do more harm then good. Just delay the time u get the shots by a month or two thats what I did with my daughter.

My son is 2 and has had no vaccinations. There are all kinds of fillers, stabilizers, and artificial ingredients in vaccines, and I do not want any of that inside my son's body. There have been many studies linking vaccinations to not only autism, but many autoimmune diseases including allergies.

because people think this way and arent getting their children immunized the diseases and things that we are vaccinated are coming back and stronger than they were before. so you have to make a choice, risk having your kid get autism or risk losing your kid from crippiling and deadly diseases. I prefer to risk the autism and still have my baby.

It's because of you people that refuse to get your kids immunised that these illnesses are still around. I was fully immunised as a child (and as an adult) and so are my children. Get your kids immunised.

this is untrue and false, do not belive it at all. The MMR vaccine and any other vaccine for that matter are not linked to autisim. the Newcomen Centre for Child Development in England has done the largest study to date to prove that vaccines do not cause autisim and there findings ring true with what the canadian pediatric society also says that vaccines do not cause autisim.

there is no link what so ever. There was 1 study done by Dr. Brian Wakefield published in the medical journal, The Lancet in 1998 which indicated a link between the MMR vaccine and autism. That was one study and all other studies have proven him wrong. Every good scientist know that if you can not reproduce the same findings with multiple studies than the study is invalid meaning it is false.



Get your child vaccinated because if he gets measels he can die. my baby got measels at 8 months and nearly died and it was awful. you can still get measels with the vaccine however it is not life threatening. the benifits out weigh the risks so if it were me and the risk were dieing from not having the shot or getting autisim (but that wont happen) from haveing the shot I will take the autisim

my daughter is only 9 months and ive been stressing about this aswell.. with that vaccine your child can not have it.. or u can give it to him/her a bit later... i dont think there is any scientific proof of this but i agree that i've heard of cases.. i am terrified of it so im pretty sure my daughter will be not having it when they suggest... its pretty scary to think that a vaccination could cause something so long term and hard to deal with! jim carreys son has it, and his wife was on opera and thats what really opened my mind about it... thats my view on it!!
