My husband and i went with the convertible because its a toddler seat and it turns in to a booster seat. I personally think it was the best thing to go with because we dont have to go and get the toddler seat and than later get the booster seat. We bought ours at Target for about $160.

all of the seats have different weight and hight restrictions, read those and you will know exactly what she needs for a seat. As far as carseats go like I said with the weight restrictions unless your kid gains 2 lbs a week you won't be buying a new one every 2 months.
