Do you think breast is best or it doesnt matter

I may be best for some, but for me, I was happy to use formula. My mum coudlnt breastfeed and neither could I. I beat myself up about it alot as there is so much support for breastfeeding mum's yet no support for formula feeding mum's and as much as you think it may not happen, we get treated quite unfairly by people in public and other mum's.

Best feeding is best but for somepeople like myself theres a reason they need to go to formula ( it seems to be a genetic problem in my family). Breast feeding reduces the chances of a baby getting so many things wrong with them (eg. ear infection, SIDS, colds ect) and creates a stronger bond between mother and child. Not to mention it helps mum return to her pre-pregnancy shape and helps the uterus contract and shrink making the chances of infection (around the open and exposed placenta vains).
I do think Breast is best and with I could have done it for longer.

I think that breastfeeding is best, but we are technologically advanced and the formula that they make comes very, very close. My son was formula fed because he was premature and wouldn't latch on, and I really hate how the breast-is-best legionnaires give us formula moms such a hard time.

I definately agree that breast is best! I breastfed my daughter for about 8 months. Sadly, she weened herself off. At about 4-5 months old she decided she wanted to be independant and feed herself with a bottle and everything, so I pumped and breastfed whenever she would let me until 8 months and then I decided to quit because my breasts wouldn't produce enough with pumping.

Breast is definately best. It's a great bonding experience, gives them all the nutrition they need, and helps build up the immune system. It's defiantely up to the mother though, whether she does or not. I was heart broken that I couldn't.

i believe breastfeeding is the best. i did it for 7 months and it was the best. It also has major bonding time with your child. It's a lot easier if your out somewhere, not having to worry about packing bottles and formula. I think it's one of the most natural things that you will ever experience in your life.

i think breast is best, sadly, however i was only able to breast feed for a week, due to being very ill having numerous infections. the doctor told me it would be best to express, so that i didn't pass them on to my baby, and then he decided that actually, a bottle was so much easier lol. I was pressured big time for not breast feeding, and actually called a failure as a mum.... rude! xXx

I breastfed my daughter and I think it was the best choice. I was only able to do it for four months bc I was still in high school and I was only able to pump once a day, so my milk supply wasnt meeting her needs. When I lost my second daughter, I considered pumping and storing my breastmilk for my brother's infant daughter, but decided not too. Breastfeeding helps you lose your baby weight and is healthier for your baby too, breast fed babies also don't get sick as often. I would deff suggest it to anyone.

I only breastfed for like a month and i did like doing it....for when they are that little and eating so often it was great to not have to go make a bottle....but when he got a lil older i wanted to be able to leave him with people and pumping was just not for me so then i only breastfed at night till he was like 3months and sleeping through the night....so i think its best and it doesnt matter lol any breast milk they get is benificial for them but i dont think its nesacary to breastfeed till they are more than one

I think that breast is best simply because formula won't give your baby the antibodies that your breastmilk will. But, I do believe that the decision is up to mom, and mom alone. If a woman can breastfeed then do so! It's an amazing experience but, if a woman can't then there's really nothing she can do about it and that's okay.
