yes i would i think they are really nice and people who can not afford to pay much money for them to will really like them. also u could donate some to special care they will could really do with blankets hope this helps

I'm not good enough to make hats and mitts yet unfortunetly. I don't think i want to sell them, if i get fast enough to make extra I think I'd take them to shelters or for christmas care baskets. I just want to be able to help people, I don't have the time to volenteer anywhere, making blankets is fun, relaxing and i can do it with the kids around. ^^ Thank you for the feed back.

they might really appreciate one...you could also speak with a school staff for ideas...perhaps something for the mom's, like a scarf or mittens, or booties...i think it is a wonderful idea....

i am expecting my third and paying someone to make one for me lol so to answer your question yes i would love one. also, what about selling them at a mom to mom sale or somthing like that. i know i love to shop at those and if you have some to give to the girls mayb if you can make extra and sell them at a good price, its a bit of extra cash for you too

This is such a lovely idea!
Hand made things are so nice but can be really pricy and alot of teen mums (even tho they do the very best by their children) may not be able to buy things like this and it will brighten up thier day knowing someone is thinking about them and doing something so nice I know i would of loved something like this when I was having my 1st

There's a program nearby that gives one to mothers when they have their first baby. Older women in the community do it and I thought it was really nice. I didn't think much of it when family memebers sent us quilts (we have 3) some are odd colored but they are the best- warmest and best against weather (we sheilded our son from rain a few times with them). It's been really awesome and I've been grateful.

Now, another idea would be to sell them at a church Christmas craft sale for relatively cheap. That way you could at least get back money for supplies if you wanted? You don't have to give them all away for free :)

Yes I would. I thought it was really awesome and it meant a lot to me when people would go out of their way to be kind to me and give me things when I was pregnant at 17

another thing you could do with them is take them up to the hospital and they can use them in the NICU or give them to young mothers those kind of things are always appreciated

yup they would be given out for free. I had someone give me a blanket once for my son, It was really nice. I don't need to charge for them, I can afford 20$ a month towards making blankets ^^

i think that's a super sweet idea! would you be giving them away for free? i think that would be really special, especially to younger moms who tend to get a lot of negative feedback. i think it would definitely brighten up their day, and that kind act would be remembered every time they looked at that blanket :0)

i deffinitly think its a great idea, my mom and grandparents have made me so many blankets that i dont know wat to do with them, but if i was a teen having a baby, than it would be not only a really nice gift and it would show that someone actaully cares, i think its a great idea, especially since u enjoy doing it, and its for a good cause, i would deffinitly do it if i were u, but i havent done that in years, i dont even think i remember how :P, i think its a great idea!!
