has any of you flown with your baby? was he/she good? what did you do?

My son is 3 months and we're flying this sunday to move back home to Hawaii. I've flown with my little siblings before but not at such an age so I'm looking for advice.

I know the pacifier helps with the change in air pressure, is there anything else? could I put in ear plugs if I break it off so it fits in his ears?

No ear plugs are not good for a baby that age....Is he bottle fed??? If not pump some milk and offer him a bottle even if he doesn't take it. Yeas a pacifier helps chances are your baby will sleep thru most of it. Mine did and he was great to travel with. All you can do is have lots of patience.

Id be careful with the ear plugs. I recommend pacifier or a bottle. I flew with my fifteen month old over 3600 miles. Which was 2 flights and was out for more than 15 hours. He was good for the most part. He had troubles with take off and landing both times. Hed wake up just before landing. Or he couldnt get comfortable and would start to fuss cus he wanted to run around on the plan or play with the passengers next to me. I had him in my lap flying without my husband so it was a challenge. Good luck!
