No not in the bottle, in my opinion nothing but plain milk goes in a bottle! Start w/Stage 1 veggies get the baby spoons and spoon feed just little on the spoon at a time. My son has been eating rice cereal, mixed grain cereal, fruits and veggies and is 4months old and I never fill the baby spoon. I like the metal spoons w/the rubber on the tip, you can't over fill those spoons. The reason I say just a little bit on the spoon at a time is because when baby is first learning to eat if you put too much food in his mouth at once he will gag on it.
Some pediatricians do recommend starting w/rice cereal, but that can cause constipation. Green veggies will not cause constipation along w/some other foods.
When feeding baby food never feed from the jar, the bacteria in babies saliva will kill the good stuff in the baby food and cause it to go bad. Start by putting about a tbsp of the baby food in a small bowl and feed only what he will take. He should open his mouth when the spoon comes to his mouth... he may not do this at first, but he will once he gets the hang of it. Toss whatever he doesn't eat from the bowl and remember to always keep open jars of baby food refrigerated.. it is only good for 2-3days after being opened.

most places recommend not starting a baby on solids until 6 months as their tummies are too immature to handle it. that being said i started my son on rice cereal at 4 months because he was a chunker and always hungry. i would do rice cereal first. just mix up a little bit (it should have the instructions on the back) something like a half teaspoon of the baby rice to a teaspoon of breastmilk / formula / water or something. then give him a little on a spoon. you will know if hes ready to eat food when he can hold his head up and he moves his tongue like sticking it out and makes biting movements with his mouth. Dont put it on the bottle because thats a bit confusing. since hes so young you would feed him his usual bottle and if he still seems hungry make up some rice cereal and try him on it. no more than a half teaspoon for the first couple days maybe once a day. and please do not start him on veges until 6 months, it can create food intolerances and colicky babies. hope i helped some :)

Your doctor should have explained the process for you. I don’t know where you live but I'm in the US and our pediatrician recommended stating with rice cereal and then with veggies. I introduced rice cereal first at 6 months and that lasted about two weeks before our son was ready for pureed veggies. I homemade our son's baby food as I felt it was the healthiest. I would just steam veggies and then puree them in a food processor and feed it to him with a spoon. In my opinion if a baby cannot eat from a spoon then they are not ready for solids. I would never add cereal or veggies to a bottle of milk. Good luck and enjoy this phase. Message me if you have questions or would like more ideas. :)
