help with morning sickness!!

I'm 13 weeks and very nauseous all day long and one thing that has helped me is saltine crackers apple sauce and mashed potatoes and gravy defiantly the mashed potatoes I don't know why but it taste and smells so good and it hits the spot and it helps with my morning sickness :) hope this helps

Try taking Unisom with doxylamine. Its an over the counter sleeping pill, but it also majorly helped my morning sickness, which lasted my entire pregnancy. My doctor recommended it and it really did work wonders. You can usually find it at CVS or Walgreens.

I was nauseated throughout the first 4 months of pregnancy, all day long. For some reason eating fruit seemed to really help. Especially strawberries, it was like the instant I swallowed a few strawberries I suddenly could think about eating a real meal. Strawberries and watermelon really helped me...and small frequent meals. After the first 4 months then I was pretty much nauseated if I ate a full meal until I gave birth. My daughter was so high in my tummy that she was squishing my stomach, so I could never finish a full meal and I just snacked throughout the day. Everyone has something that worked or helped them, just eat what sounds good to you.

try keeping crackers by your bed and getting up slowly, also try seperating ur soups and drinks from your solid meals...it helps me

well first off you can ask your doctor is he will give you anything for it. thats what i ended up doing cause it got so bad (im on Zofran)... that and water, lots of water! if you cant keep anything down that will atleast keep you from dry heaving!! eat stuff that is starchy (toast works the best for me)

Oh and those seabands... they work with a pressure point in your arm... they're supposed to help too! Good luck!!!

Apparently if you keep soda crackers beside your bed, and eat a few before you get up for the day, that's supposed to help, also taking it slow when getting up.Hope it helps you!

eating yogurt!!! lol it sounds weird but it helped a lot with nausea and (night) sickness for me! also try sucking on a peppermint .. that only helps for a few minutes but still--it helps!

i am only 8 weeks. i havent had really bad morning sickness...its bad enough to keep me home and in bed most of the time (at least every other day) and i cant work right now, but i havent thrown up yet (knock on wood!). i know this might sound odd, but ive found that sometimes lemon sour patch kids help. just a couple at a time, but for some reason it seems to ease up the nausea a little! i cant eat crackers or pretzels anymore cuz they're so dry they make me gag. the other day tho, i had some cheez-its...theyre ok if you're not REALLY nauseous :)

Tanilya have you found anything that worked? I have been for 5 weeks! Im almost 11 weeks and I feel like I have to force myself to eat. I've been hospitalized and I have doctors appointments every other week.. I tried crackers, soup, water, mommy pops, sprite, noodles, bland foods, and more. Sometimes I feel horrible because I know I will just throw it up (i normally get sick around 5 times a day).. You find anything?

i read that drinkiing lemonade slowly helps with morning sickness too. unfortunely i found that out after my morning sickness went away lol. and eating crackers help slowly while laying down, wait 15 minutes then get up slowly

Saltine crackers 1st thing in the morning. Your dr. should also be able to give you something to take that is safe for you and the baby.

It really helped whenever I'd eat crackers and lay down and just nap it off that's what always helped me. Oh and if you ever get heartburn what helped me was peppermints like the one sonic gives you they helped so much. Just thought I'd throw that in there :)

i had morning sickness bad when i was pregnant with my 2nd son i threw up all day everyday....nothin really helped stopped it....but with my 1st son i would just eat soup and crackers to help calm it down and drink gatorade and water to stay hydrated

i had morning sickness throughout my whole pregnancy, but what i found helped me heaps was dry crackers, and not having any dairy e.g. milk, in the morning, as that would bring it on worse than normal... i had to have toast instead... hope you find something to help, xx

I had diclection my doctor percribed it but it didnt work for me. It just made me throw up 4 times a week instead of 7 . and my sickness never went away threw up til the day my Daughter was born . Hopefully you find something that helps because i wouldnt wish Morning Sickness for 9 months straight on anyone its hell . I found Tums help me settle my stomach also

i was sick up to 3 months in my pregnancy but as i have only got 4weeks left it has started to come back (nightmare) at the beginning i got up really slowly had a probiotic yoghurt drink with a bannana waited 10 mins and wasnt sick it did seem to stop it and is working now aswell good luck !!!! its horrible but it will be worth it by the end :)

i was sick all the way through my pregnancy right up to when my daught was out lol
i found that sucking on hard sweets helped me and i could never eat a meal normally i had to nibble at it otherwise i was sick
i ended up having to have tablets from my doctor to help with it

I was extremely sick for two to three weeks and then I was just nausea and sick every now and then up until i was four or five months pregnant. I just dealt with my sickness because nothing seemed to help. I mostly just slept it away and kept myself busy so that I could ignore it.

Yes, I was pretty much sick all the way into the 3rd trimester, it finally went away though toward the end thankfully.. course I was so big and waddly that I had a whole set of new problems to complain about then just morning sickness.. lol

I drank soups and ate crackers that seemed to help me a bit but the morning sickness never fully went away.
