How did you baby's daddy take the news?

my baby's father's first words after i told him i was pregnant were "well what are you going to do about it" then he asked if i was going to keep it, put it up for adoption, or get an abortion. After that he decided to tell me he had doubts about me and that we couldnt keep the baby because he would have gotten kicked out so he didnt tell his parents. he didnt even want me to tell anyone cuz he didnt want people to know. he didnt talk to me or approach me at school for about a week and then decided he wanted to help (still without telling anyone). by that time my mom was coming from her home state to get me.....he blames me for leaving....sometimes idk if my decision was right or wrong. he does help out with her so i am grateful

He was really upset. We weren't together at the time, so it was awkward. He never once blamed me though. We decided on adoption together, and eventually I changed my mind. We got back together when our son was 3 months old and he has been loving every minute since.

my sons father when I told him he was so not happy and I told him i would get an abortion but I didn't the day it was to late to get an abortion he packed my things and dropped it off i was staying between his place and his sisters place and he dropped all my things off with me at his sisters place it took awhile to get over it my son is now three and we are happy

my boyfriend didnt really believe me at first. we havent been preventing it before so i eventually thought i would. i took it while he was sleeping though, took it with my best friend and didnt tell him till we all woke up the next day. but ever since then he's been soo happy helping me out so much and were having a boy. so he's even more excited.

Well. He made sure I used the test first thing in the morning after we had woken up. I did. And I walked back in and handed it to him not even 30 seconds later. He looked at it and said, "What's that mean?" I had to laugh, becuase what else would a big fat positive mean?! So I said, "I'm pregnant" trying not to cry. I'm usually the one who worries about stuff. I have much less of a support group than he does, although now his family has kicked in a TON for me... But He just looked at me and said, "We're gonna be parents." and hugged me. I could tell he had a million questions but he just stayed quiet and within an hour or so his worries and doubts turned into excitment. It took a few weeks for me to get there. haha. But we are both very happy with how everything has happened and worked out!

well i had taken the first test right before my first day of driver's ed and i told him after i got back to his house. i dont think it really hit him until i got the ultra sounds...then everything kinda fell apart.

well i found out when i went to the hospital and i was with one of my good friends.

i found out i was pregnant; i was shocked!

but then we drove to my babys daddys work, and my friend just blurted it out!! "Candies pregnant!!" haha and i said yeah im pregnant.. and we have only been together about three months..

his facial expression did not change at all! and i was starting to get worried.. he let out a little smile.. but it looked like he had no idea what to say.

later on he told me that he had a dream before i found out, that his grandma "in his dream" told him he was going to be a daddy. and his grandma passed away a while ago :( r.i.p!

but that was amazing that he said that.. so he already knew



but hes been the best im 17 hes 19 we are still together barely arguments, hes sooo supportive buys me and baby everything.

and hes even bought us; yes BOUGHT! a house!

and hes just so happy; no one has ever seen him soo happy before. hes sooo excited to be a daddy! :)

i cant wait till our daughter is born! goin to hospital tuesday to be induced and i cant wait!! :D

with my first my bf actually told me I was pregnant he jst had a really strong feeling and i was feeling sick so i done a test 2 confirm and it was positive he was over the moon
with my second i was 5 days l8 bt this had happened b4 so i wasnt even thinkin i was even tho me and my fiance (same guy) were tryin anywayz i was at the drs wit my daughter and after the dr had seen her i said 2 thm about bein 5 days l8 n tht this happened b4 she done a test and it was positive so i told my fiance at first he thot i was windin him up bt after me tellin him again and offering to do another test he belived me and was really chuffed xxx

it was a great shock
we had only been dating 4 months
and his whole adult life he was told he couldnt have a child
(he is 35 im 18)
it had only been 6 months since i had miscarried a baby
i had spent a couple nights whith my mother because i wasnt feeling well ( i was a mama's girl when i was sick)
so my step dad got up took me to my family physican and she automatically did a pregnancy test
my cycle had never been regular so i couldnt depend on that as a sign
i was texting my mom the whole time the doc was telling me
i cried for like 5 hours the got up the nerve to call the baby's father i had to call everyone under the son to get in touch with him so basically everyone knew before him
he was excited at first then he kinda slipped away for a while
he's starting to get back in the picture a little more
and is very excited bc not only is this his first child its a boy

i was 18 and he was 19 when we found out...We had been married for 2 weeks exactly when he started getting sick every time he ate and i had said something to my mom about it and she asked me if i was prego and i said no and i kept saying that for 2 more weeks..lol...well my husband and dad had left one after noon after working on the house so i decided to take a test..when my husband got home i went outside and said" We're having a baby." and all he said for 2 days was "Well i guess we have to paint the back bedroom now."lol... Our daughter is now 4 1/2 months and she is her daddy's lil girl and he's her biggest fan ♥

Well I just turned 18 and i am 37 weeks pregnant. When I first found out I told my mom first and then waited to tell him until after the doctors appointment. I was so scared to tell him and was very uneasy as I wasnt in love with him. Plus I had just found out that he lied about his age. He told me he was 18 and he turned out to only be 16. But I told his mom and then we (me my mom and his mom) had a sit down with how to tell him. The next day(4 days after i found out) I called him and started having casual convo with him. The next time he paused i said...Im Pregnant and hung up. We wernt together and so i wasnt sure how he would take it...He called back an hour later and said what are you going to do? I was so dumb founded. I said keep it. But i was so disappointed that anybody would ask that. It finally settled in and was a little to happy. Or at least acted it. I am now 37 weeks and getting induced in 3 days and havnt heard from him in like 6 months...

Me and my fiance were together or 5 years before i got pregnant I was 19 and although I was young we both wanted a baby together. I took the test in the morning when he was still sleeping and I was crying when I told him. He was actually more excited then I was. He went to every dr appointment and was there the whole time at the hospital. I had to have an emergency c-section and my daughter had to go to the NICU because she swallowed her maconium. I also was there a day just to be on magnesium because of my BP so we were there for 5 nights 6 days. And he was there the whole time.

My little girl was planned so it wasn't really a suprise lol. My period has always been right on time, seriously not a day out. So when I didn't get it I knew the next day I was pregnant. Went to the Dr's for a blood test... positive. We were excited but kept it to ourselves for the first 12 weeks. We had already had a m/c so we don't believe your pregnant until you see the baby after 12 weeks.. It saves the heart ache if you lose the baby.

but then he was at the birth and we now live together and he helps out lots. still has not bought anything for him tho

my first child...i told her dad over the phone because he had just moved from texas to tennessee. he was soooo excited! i was 15 and he was 14 almost 15. he hasn't seen her since she was 3 months old and she was 4 months old when we broke up.he has nothing to do with her. doesnt call doesnt pay child support doesn't send birthday/christmas gifts/cards.

my second child his daddy wasn't really excited. he was 27 and unemployed due to a lay off. after about a day or two he started getting excited lol our son just turned 1 and we are still together.

i was doing my hairdressing apprentiship and had to take a couple of days off work kuz i thought i had food posioning and all the smells of the conditioners were making me feel worse. my partner was at work and i just happened to find a sample pregnancy test in the bathroom and it turned out positive!

i called my partner at work straight away and all he could say was aw fuk aw fuk

my boyfriend was in shock at first because we had been careful, and i was scared so i told him i was not having an abortion but adoption was always an option. He himself is adopted and stopped me right there and held me and then said exactly "no i love you and i want to have this baby, we are going to be great parents to an amazing baby." we love our baby girl and we couldnt be happier

he cried! i went down to work in tears to tell him as our son wasn't planned.

not exactly the best idea as he couldn't concentrate later.

we fell out for a few days as he didn't feel ready for a child.

but i've never regretted my decision of keeping oliver... and neither does my partner who after those few days stood by as he knew i wouldn't change my mind.

I had went to my parents house out of state with my boyfriend and his 2 boys for about a week and it was the week I should have started my period. After a couple of days I noticed I hadn't gotten it. When we got home I took a test and it came out negative, but I still hadn't gotten my period and went and got a couple of more tests. The first one came out positive and I called one of my best friends who was really excited. I waited a couple of hours until the boys were asleep and called him in the bathroom acting like I had just took it and showed it to him. He just looked at me and said "Well, we will take it as it comes." He wasn't really excited but he has come around to the idea of having another baby. He even rubs my belly and talks to the baby almost every day.

My partner and i weren't together at that time i found out.
I fond out i was pregnant 4th month (there was never routine in my period so i wasn't suspicious) and couldn't come over tellin him for a whole more month.
then i called him on the mobile in the evening as he was just on the way meeting some friends - we talked about five minutes then he told me to talk the day after and hung up.
he was going to his friend's (which told me) drank a couple of beers and he said "I'm going to be a father"
he accepted it from the very moment - that makes me still happy

(funny side story: a week before that it was new year's eve and out of tradition he and friends were casting lead, and they made fun of him 'cause they told him his lead clump looked like a vine which meant childbless *lol*)

hey. when i found out i was pregnant i was over the moon with joy. i was 17 at the time. me and my partner both decided we wanted a baby and didnt care wat anyone else thought of it. i went to the doctors thinking i must just have some weird pains. next thing i know i found out i was pregnant. i had to put on an act for my patners father who was trying to get my partner to get rid of me.. he wanted his son to himself but he was told to f*** off. so i was crying and pretending to shake. when we got home i went to the bedroom and my partner started hugging me and couldnt keep the smile off his face. 7months later i gave birth to my gorgous little boy =] and i couldnt be happier!
