I had a c-section with my son and honeslt i didnt think it hurt. All i felt was pulling and tugging and if you do feel something more then that they offer to give you more medication. Mostly the recovery is hard because you feel strange trying to walk around. But after the first day of walking around i was fine able to get around quite easily.

i had an emergency c-section after being in labor for 8 hrs due to my sons heartbeat going crazy everytime i had a contraction. they were giving me my epidural and pain meds thinking i was not going to have a c-section so i didnt feel much. they gave me something to numb the feeling. but the recovery stinks and i was in pain for two weeks

when i had my c-section i didnt feel anything. if you get an epidural (which i did) it numb your lower body and when they take you in to the operating room they should give you another dose so you cant feel it. but after you have your baby it hurts really bad from the pain but you will be prescibed medication for the pain and the swelling. if your pain meds arent working tell your doctor and they will up your script or give you a different medication.

Honestly, my section wasnt that bad. I was in labore for 10 hours before they did an emergency section, I nursed my daughter within 2 hours of my surgery, and walked up 2 flights of stairs carying my baby in the infant car seat 3 days later. Some women just deal with pain differently.

I would rather have a vaginal birth anytime, i thought the pain of the csection after was grooling, i could not sit it was an awful lot of pain. The process was not painful, just alot of pressure, but man o man the recover was hell.

mine was an emergency and i could feel more than usual cuz he was stuck and they had to cut my uterus horzintal and vertical, and then was knocked out completly due to the pain i was in, but that is not normal for that to happen. I was up and moving about 12 hours after my c-section, it was painful but i wanted to be up so i could go to the NICU and see my baby.....i was home 4 days after my surgery but could of went home on the 3rd day, but stayed so my baby could go home with me on the 4th day.....i was back to feelin normal in about 3-4 weeks.......but everyone is different.....good luck

you cant feel the opperation happening because they inject numing stuff into your spine so you feel totally paralised for at least 8 hours its living with the pain afterwards i could'nt even cough sneeze or laugh propper without it hurting my stomach too much after a couple of months it obivousily gets better its a year on since i had mine and the scar is still tender wen my jeans rub along it i would go through normal labour any day over a csection

personally...I didnt feel a thing i was already on my feet the following morning after my operation...but it does feel like you have jelly attached to you and you really have to be careful cause you are more fragile than anyone who had a normal delivery.

well i had a an emergency c-section after I had been in labor and had an epidural instead of a spinal. I could personally feel more than probably most women feel. My right side didnt numb mostly at all and they had to cut my incision more to the left. It hurt a lot but mostly I was scared. There was a lot of tugging and pulling. The thing that hurt the worst is the first time you have move from the bed to the chair, and then standing the first time!
