He was my first, woke-up at 8 am with contractions, water broke at 9:30 am; took a shower, did my hair & make-up; went to 40 week appt. that day at 1:30 pm, was told I was 2 cm. and that indeed it was my water that broke. My OB/GYN then sent us to the birthing center, because she told me I would go quick. Needless to say, at 11:21 pm that night I had him = 15 1/2 hours. It wasn't even bad though.

My contractions started on the friday evening, only little contractions then they slowly got worse. When into hospital at about 2am on the sunday morning but they sent me home because I was only 2cm dialated. Went back to hospital at about 2pm on the sunday and they tried to send me home again but my mum refused to take me home because my contractions were so bad. They had to break my waters and give me loads of pain relief for my contractions. Then my daughter was born at 8:07pm on the sunday night... so just over 72hrs.

Lets see...my labor started around 4:30pm and I went to the hospital at 7...broke my water around 9 and that's when the bad contractions started...got my epidural at 11:30, and he was born at 1:58am. So 9 1/2 hours ish? Wasn't too bad actually. I can't wait to do it again. :-)

I was induced a little early. Walking around @ 5cm helped. My labor was short but intense; 3.5hrs start to finish. No drugs. Didn't want them. I'm sure the nurses hated me. I actually didn't feel the contractions to push. Endorphines had kicked in. Nature's epidural.
