I went into the hospital at about 12:30pm on the 2nd to be induced, and after about 9 hours of no progress, my doctor tried another thing to help me dialate and she started that at about 10pm and by 1am I started having contractions, 10am they broke my water, around Noon i got my epidural, which only numbed my left side. I kept trying to tell them that it wasn't working, but they never believed me, and at about 6-6:30 I started pushing and at 7:57pm I had a wide eyed beautiful baby girl.

I was in Labour 16 hrs. Pushing for a few hours. Because my baby was in no harm they didnt want to give me a cesar so just let her come when she was ready. I tried gas and hated it. I had an injection (not the epidural the other) which just made me very emotional so although painful next pregnancy i will opt for a drug free labour. My mother-in-law was in labour for 48 hours.

11 hours labour, 1 hour pushing! my epidural didn't work! they tried to put it in my back five or six times! of course he found his way out anyways! (with not a care about how much pain mommy was in). . .but it was all worth it in the end and quickly forgotten!
