I was only 14 when I got pregnant, I had my sweet baby boy just 12 days after my 15th Birthday. I had my son a month after my due date... I was in and out of labor for about 3 day then went through 22 hrs labor in hospital and 20-22 mins of pushing (No Epidural) and at 7:30 am January 18th 7lb 2oz Saige Kean Martinez entered this world... but that's where things got scary!!

I was 18 when i got pregnant didnt find out until i was 3 months along tho. was still 18 when i had my son 7 days early and 7 days before my birthday. when i went to my 39 week ultrasound i was sent home and was told to go and check into the hospital at 7pm that night to be induced. i wasnt feeling any contractions and they were going off the charts i had to be on meds for 24hrs got an epidural after 32 hours had a rising temp from 102 to 110 and then April 10th 2012 7:43pm 5lbs 13oz derrick deshaun garrett jr was here. was also born with club feet and torticollis. after i pushed him out he was rushed to the NICU and he stayed for 2 days and i was also in the hospital room for 2 days i love having my son and even though i was ready to have my son and i had everything he needed before he got here it was a little scary now everything is amazing my son is getting help even though he acts like nothing is wrong with him! its a lot to handle but since i have him he takes away a lot of the stuff im going through hope this helps.

I was 18 when I found out I was pregnant and 19 when I had my son. My labor was interesting. It was 7 hours long, I slept through the whole thing. I was woken up by the doctors asking me to sign a paper for an emergency c-section, which I knew was going to happen but my doctor didn't.

I got pregnant at 18 and had my now-6 year old little man at 19. I gotta tell you, it was pretty unpleasant! Two days of labor, they didn't give me the epi until an hour or two before he was born, I kept blacking out, they were suggesting a C-section, he pooped before he was born - shoot, even I crapped myself, lol. It was just a hot mess, but I'm glad of it, even though he literally tore his big-headed way out, smh. I don't know what I would do without my sweet little terror.

I was 15 when I got pregnant. Had my baby boy 2 months after my 16 th birthday. About 5 montha later I became pregnant with my second child I was 17 when I had him :) I wouldn't change anything! My first labor was about 5 hours had demerol shots for the back labor pains. Healthy boy 8.6lbs 8:20 at nighr Lane thomas was born :) second labor I was induced because he was pushing on my lungs and I couldn't breathe. About 7:55 am my water broke and at 8:11 am my second baby boy was born 6.1lbs :) not too bad for either and I wouldn't take it back. I had both kids with the same man, and we were married a month after our first child and have been to gether ever since. I am 21 now ;)

I thank All of you who defended me from Eva's negativity.. I love my son and wouldn't change his timing for the world.. I was ready for my son, more than ready actually... My son is now four months away from turning 3! Saige Is so smart and very sweet to every one he meets, I stay home with him as often as possible and dedicate most of my time to his learning and well being! Unfortunately his Bio father dropped out of his life before he was even born but Saige's grandparents are still very involved though! But I did meet an amazing man who loves Saige as if he was his own! We are now married and possibly expecting baby number two! yes I am only 17 but I finished school and have taken all the necessary steps in life to secure a beautiful future for my babies !! :)

I went into labor at 32 weeks and they had to stop it and then my body just didnt want to go back into labor... then my water ruptured January 15th at 7:15 and I didn't say anything because I wasn't sure but the next morning I was in pain not alot I was mostly just uncomfortable... I argued with my mom to get her to take me to the birthing center...! I was dialated to one when I went in and just kept Dialating very slowly... I walked and Sat on the ball...Then the doctor checked me agian at Nine I think it was the night of the 17th and I was at six and from their things starting to speed up I got very little sleep that night... I cried a little from the contractions little did I know i was an hour away from pushing! then i threw up... at about six in the morning I was finally fully Dialated and it felt as though my body was pushin him out without me lol So I started Pushing and at 7:30am out popped His little head Man I was tired and the ring of fire did me in good! then Al the sudden the doctors eyes got wide and I was told to stop pushing... I kept saying I can't!! She had to pull my son out quickly because the umbilical cord was wrapped around his tiny throat twice... He was blue and wasn't moving... Finally she got the cords cut away but still there was no movement no tiny shrieks of life... i was scared and starting to get really upset when finally a loud strong cry was let out and I was able to breathe agian... Then the doctor came back to me... I had torn all the way down.... It was bad!! but within no time at all I was up and walking... when i got back to the bed they handed me 7lb 2oz sweet little fighter Saige !! right away he picked up his head and looked right at me! To this very day everytime I think about that day I tear up and get shakey!!

I just gave birth -- 2 months ago -- and am only 17. He was born 10 days before my estimated due date. Hard 36 hour labor which started early morning in my house. Went to hospital, only to find out that I was only 1 cm dilated. Went back home, walked for a while, went to my ob doctor: I was at 2.

I could not take the pain so I called the paramedics and lied saying that my contractions were only 5 minutes apart ( they were like 10 to 20 minutes apart and irregular ). Went to hospital again, found out I was 3 cm. When they admitted me to labor and delivery, I immediately asked for pain medication and epidural: WHICH DIDN'T WORK FOR ME. I had to get it twice and I was told that the first anesthesiologist put the needle in the wrong spot ( am actually experiencing lots of back pains as I am writing this).

My labor wasn't progressing so they had decided to break my water and start me on pitocin the next morning at 7 am. THANK GOD, my water broke on its own at approximately 5-6 AM at 4 cm. I went from 4 to 10 quickly. Had my DS, Gianni Valentino Amadeus W., 7 lbs 13 oz at 5:10 PM, was 39 weeks and 1 day pregnant. Felt everything! No medication was in my system. Epidural never worked. ABOVE PAINFUL, but well worth it!

I had my son when I was 16. We had a day picked for me to be induced. They thought he was too small (possible IUGR - In Uterine Growth Retardation), I tested positive for Strep-B, and my blood was A- (chance of RH Disease). So they wanted to keep an eye on me and make sure I got the antibiotics I needed during labor.

I went into labor on my own the morning I was to be induced. They still decided to give me Pitocin anyway. I had him at 12:03 pm. The doctor wasn't in the room yet when I had him because I gave just a couple good pushes and he came out onto the hospital bed.

I got pregnant just before my 20th birthday about 8 months after getting married. It was not a planned pregnancy but it was a blessing from God! My sweet baby boy was due on November 26, 2011 (which is my husbands birthday) but was actually born 4 weeks early on Nov 3, 2011. I had preeclampsia and had to be induced at 36 weeks. My labor was very quick and easy. I started having stronger and stronger contractions and went from 4 cent dialated to 10 in just 20 minutes. I pushed for half and hour and then my little Nathan Joel was out! He weighed 6 lb 4 oz and was the cutest little thing I have ever seen. It was one of the best experiences of my life! He is 10 months old now and is the sweetest little boy. We are already planning on the second.

They were three months premature but they are doing great right now :) Daniel got to come home on my 24th birthday(Nov 16) and Noah got to come home April 5th... They spent a long time in the NICU, especially Noah. I dont regret them At All. They are what I live for every day :) I have never experienced love so strong and powerful until I met my baby boys.

Eva Gordon,

1. NO ONE is ready for parenthood no matter what age.

2. I believe your in the wrong community sweetie.

3. you took the cowards way out. killing your child... just because you have three children now means nothing toward the first child. all it means was you chose not to grow up and take responsibility.

5. congrats on college, a house, and having your life so planned out...man i wish we all could be like you... Not at all...

6. for a school teacher you still have a lot to learn. you children will most likely start having sex at an earlier age than you did. today the average age for a girl to loose her virginity is between 12- 15.. better watch what you eleven year old is doing... karma sucks.

7. It your old enough to spread your legs, your old enough to take responsibility.

8. I wouldn't judge a person by the age they became a parent.... you never know if there is a young girl who was a rape victim but still chose life for there child. or the young girl who took responsibility and did everything for her child.

I conceived my daughter at 17, i was with my now fiance for 6 months. a month after my 18th birthday; I went into the hospital after several hours of contractions, on the night of September 14th 2010, I had an appointment to be induced the next day, when I arrived at the hospital I was told I was on a list to get a phone call in the morning not to come in. for the hospital was so packed, i ended up in waiting several hours for a room to open up. I was in HARD labor for 33 hours. I had severe back labor opted for morphine because i wasn't dilating, and my mother was begging me to take something for the pain (apparently my screams of pain were well horrifying) finally after 5 hours with morphine in my system I was 5cm dilated and opted for the epidural. The woman was horrific 15 minutes of digging in my back and those screams brought my entire family and friend to tears, that my sister and friend had to walk away. around 1:30 in the morning September 16th a resident came in and told me i could have had my baby an hour ago. it was time to start pushing ( this resident gave me the creeps me out. he was painful, and called me a cute little girl I WAS DELIVERING A BABY!!! far from cute and the last thing wanted to be called was a little girl) anywho, the epidural worked as far as not feeling the contractions but the pain where the needle was, was horrendous. 15 minutes of pushing. (1:54 a.m) i had my beautiful little girl Aurora Angelina at 8.4 oz 21 inches long. sorry to share the whole story but the scenario of going to the hospital and being packed, being called a little girl and being told i could have had my little girl an hour ago is ironic and now humous.

Eva my last words will be is never judge anyone though we were the same age of conceiving a child, i took responsibility. I could go on and on bragging about how advanced my two year old is but i wont. I will only tell you I was lucky enough to have a child with the man i want to spend the rest of my life with. who worked his butt off to get us a home. I worked on and off but opted. to raise my child myself. to work with her everyday , know exactly how she is raised.I'm still putting myself through school even though its not necessary, since she is more than taken care of with out my college education. your attitude is nauseating, please remove yourself from this group.

I was 17 when I got pregnant, and just off 18 when I had my son.

My waters broke at 1am while I was trying to sleep, and my contractions jumped into full swing straight away. I tried to let my husband sleep a little longer because he was driving me to the hospital and I needed him to be alert.

I called my parents to look after my house and pets at 6am, and we were off to the hospital by 6:30am.

I had wanted a completely natural birth, but I hadnt slept properly for nearly 4 nights, getting a grand total of maybe 5 hours sleep all up, so I was exhausted. By 7pm I was too tired to keep going, so I opted for a c section.

During the c section the surgeon had to keep reminding me to breathe. I was so tired and finally in no pain(thanks to the epidural) my body was not doing the things it should all by itself, like breathing and blinking.

At 8:16pm on the 27 November 2008 my son was born weighing 3.2 kilograms. My husband was the first one to hold him while I got stitched up.

First, shame on you Eva. Just because you couldn't handle it at 17 and took (in my opinion) the cowards way out, doesn't mean you can judge anyone of us. It takes a lot of courage and strength to be a teen mom, hell a mom period, and at 14 Destiny obviously had more strength and courage than you ever could have.

I got pregnant when I was 18 and a senior in high school. My son was born 2 1/2 months before I graduated (2 weeks after my 19th birthday). I went into labor around 2am and he was born just after 8:30 the same night. Labor wasn't horrible and he was a great baby.

He is now 13 and has a brother (almost 11) and sister (just turned 5). I don't regret being a teen mom, because it was all worth it just to have him in my life.

Eva sounds like she has a lot of regrett and unforgiveness there of herself. I don't encourage teen preganicy but it can happen its a fact of life I agree with u sarah and the other lady's who have commented after her and why is she on teen moms? she can't relate to us clearly I'm 24 I know I'm not a teen but I can realate. treat others the way u want to be treat Eva, if u have nothing nice to say to us don't say it at all. I live by those sayings. Love all teen Moms we have done well rasing our babies and do an awesome job being a mom! our kids love us the same any other child who comes from a person who is nearly 30 or 35 or40 having one isn't that not true?

Oh Eva wow a lot to say about this young lady and talking about others ie myself who was the same age has her and I'm proud grew up with mine two children worked as a florist the whole way threw has some saving there because I worked after school as a florist before hand blah blah you should open ur mind up a little Hun. My body handled my preganicy at that age fine :)

I fell pregnant at 14 had my son 3 weeks before my birthday he was 2 weeks over due labour 48 hours all natural, but cannot remember how long I was pushing for it was 9.5 years ago now he was 7pounds13oz and he was an easy baby hardly cried ate and slept :) very cuddly too when I breast fed him he would have his arm around me from day one memories I will never forget. 2nd I fell preg at 17 had her a month after my birthday she was 8 pounds 14oz labour 7 hours 3ins apart the whole time all natural again.

Both children with same dad.

As for Eva well I shouldn't have to explain what I had and didn't because I coped just fine I had no welfare help either how's that I'm so on destiny side and sarah.i don't regret having them. That young guess what at 30 my son will be 15 my daughter a little younger and I won't be getting tired or getting buggered knees or things like that kinda what happens later in life.anyway everyone will have there own opinions about this however don't attact accept it it's not nice you have no idea what her circumstances are behind it ( worse case u just Neva know it could have been rape??? Who knows with anyone that age?) Hun and everyone it's called a fact of life everything happens for a reason. God bless you all out there

Eva, You should not be bashing her for making tge choice to keep her son. You were wrong for taking your childs life. I had sex for the first time at 16 an was aad but happy that I could bring my daughter into the world an at 12 wks I miscarried. How can u sit by an kill your child for selfish reasons? If you are old enough to spread ur legs, you are old enough to a cept the consequences. PERIOD!!!

When I got pregnant with my first child, I was 16 and had her three months before I turned 17. My water broke at 2:50 am and after 12 hrs of all naturally labour and delivery, I welcomed my little girl into this world with loveing and open arms. I got pregnant with my second and third at the age of 20, and had them 2 months after my 21st birthday. My water broke at 11 pm and by 1 am (2hrs later) I held my twin girls in my arms. I know what you mean about being ready. Due to cervical cancer, and my fear of never being able to have more children after my first, (found out about the cervical cancer a few months before my 19th birthday) the twins father and I decided we wanted at least one, but got blessed with two. I feel very strongly that no matter your age, you can be a GREAT mother as long as you are willing and ready to step up to the plate and assume 100% responsibility for your decisions. In no way am I agreeing with, or supporting teen pregnancy. My point here is that, with the right resources, support, and maturity a 15 year old CAN be an awesome mum.

I got pregnant at age 17. Had him a month after I turned 18. I had a natural birth, no pain meds or epidural! He was a tiny little man weighing 6 lbz and 13ozs. He wasn't planned either, I was on botrh control the pill to be exact. But I still managed to get pregnant who knows. But abortion never crossed my mind. I stayed with my parents until I finished highschool a couple months later and ever since then, I been on my own! Doing every thing by myself no help frm no one and that's fine with me. He's 3 now and I love my son more than anything n the world!

I got pregnant at a little over 15 1/2, 17 hour labor. My daughter was stuck on my pelvic bone so I had to lay on my side for one hour to try and loosen her... they gave me two epidurals, and then some.. my left leg was completely numb. my daughter was supposed to be a c-section because she was too big for me, but it didn't happen. the doctors were trying to get her out fast because I had a fever over 104, they cut me and all of a sudden a doctor said "I'm sorry this is going to hurt" he made a fist and started pressing on my stomach, I started screaming and two other doctors were pulling on my daughter. she broke her collar bone coming out. Amani Hope Dickerson came into this world weighing 8 lbs 12.1 oz (almost 9lbs). surprisingly nothing hurt except for the doctor pushing on my stomach, and the contractions.

I got pregnant when I was 24 just after my 24th birthday and I had my now almost 4 year old daughter on December 9th 2008. She was born at 11:51 pm I was in labour for 18 hours until I had her. I had no drugs, I had an all natural birth so I felt everything. I felt the ring of fire, the stretching of the muscles, I felt it all and I did not like it at all I know most moms out there like to enjoy there first time and go without drugs and be in the moment but mon oh man did it ever hurt to push out that baby of mine. she weighed 10 pounds 5 oz. She was a big baby, but I love her dearly more and more everyday.
