I'm 19 and pregnant, questions?

I was 5'4 and 118 lbs when i got pregnant i am now 33 weeks and i have gained about 40 pounds. every pregnancy is different some ppl don't gain as much weight as others and some gain more it just depends on you. if your body is meant to gain weight it will don't get too up and arms about it just relax it will come in good time i didn't even really start showing until about 20 weeks like i said every pregnancy is different so just sit back relax and enjoy im 19 and pregnant too you can add me if you want if you have any more questions feel free to ask its nice seeing someone on here in the same boat as me

I am 5'4 normally 110 pounds. I didn't gain weight until I was right around 20 weeks. I gained 40 pounds by the end of my pregnancy which is healthy. You'll gain it on your own time as long as you stay healthy.

well im 5 foot.
i weighed 120lbs.
i thought i was tha perfect weight an i was oo so happy.
then i got pregnant. an i gained almost 70lbs i gained 10 of it in tha first 2 month an it jus kept adding up after that.
an now im still at 140 after 5 months.

I only gained 1 pound a week until now. I'm 24 weeks pregnant and I went from 123lbs to 136 in 4 weeks so it'll all hit you at once. The trick is to keep cocoa butter on your belly, thighs, butt, and boobs so you won't get as many stretch marks. It doesn't prevent all of them but it will help with some :)

I'm 19 too and i didnt really gain weight until the last month so dont worry its totally normal i was worried too but my doctor said when your younger and tiny to begin with it takes longer to put it on

I'm 5'3 and the most i've ever weighed was 140 lbs when I was pregnant with my 2nd son and almost 2 weeks overdue. He was 9 lbs when he was born lol Everyone said I was going to have this tiny baby cause i was so small. What a joke! As long as your eating okay and taking your vitamins you'll be fine. I noticed I gained most of my weight in the last 2 months.

I'm 4'11 and started at 100 lbs. and it took a LONG time for me to start gaining weight and even longer for my belly to show. It took well into my 6th month to gain wait and I was 7 months pregnant before my belly got big enough to see...it still wasn't that big though.

I'm 5'4 and was 133 pounds before I got pregnant (that may be tiny but still). I actually lost 20 pounds the first few months of my pregnancy and didn't gain any weight until my 8th month. I was about 5 months when I actually started showing.

I am also 4'11. I was 85lbs before i got pregnant and it took forever to gain the weight! I was 5 or 6 months before i even started to show.I ended up gaining 40lbs. Just eat right and the weight will come!!

I didnt put on much weight untill i got to about 23ish weeks i barely showed and then it was really sudden and i looked HUGE lol. Im 5 ft 2 and i weighed 7st 2lbs before i got pregnant ( i duno what that is in pound im from the uk) then at the end of my pregnancy i was 10st 2lbs so i put on 3 stone ive lost 2 of that already (my daughters 5 months) with some people they dont put on much weight untill say the last month or so of their pregnancy so what your experiencing is completely normal but if your really worried mention it at your antenatal apointments encase your baby needs steriods. Some people dont get really big but just wait lol. your not to far along. I know some one who was about the same size. she was 5-6month and you couldnt really tell. depending on what she wore. but lol just wait =)

With my daughter I gained 40 lbs (god it took forever to lose only most of it) but with my son I only gained 10 lbs, and hes the big one lol! It depends from not only woman to woman but pregnancy to pregnancy. Just eat right and keep up on your prenatals, your body will do its thing. The given average is 10- 30 lbs

I am 5'4", 125 lbs...I didn't show till I was 7.5 mos...I'm preggo again, 19 weeks along and am already showing...it depends on the person..eat right and you'll gain the weight eventually...

i was 18, 5" even and 105 lbs. i lost 15 lbs for 4 months of morning sickness!!! i ended up gaining 45 lbs, and was 150 at the end of my pregnancy! i just suggest to take your prenatals, and eat A LOT!!!!! i ate 3 meals a day, but snacked all day! i know they say not to eat fatty foods when you are pregnant, but it really helped. eat things with a lot of protein like meat or peanut butter. all of my life i could never gain weight, and am now 125 lbs. so i didn't really start gaining until after 4 months! don't worry hunny, the weight WILL show up!!! lol

I am 19 and just had a baby i was 5'2" and 115 pounds before i got pregnant. i only gained 10 pounds the entire time and the baby weight didnt start showing till i was 8 1/2 months pregnant. and now im back to my original size with no stretch marks or baby fat. I considered myself a lucky person. so dont worry bout it your body knows how much it needs to gain or not gain.

just dont drink alot of sodas or eat alot of candy/sweet junk cuz it wont come off as baby weight. i walked 2 miles everyday i was pregnant and i was only in labor 55 minutes and weighted less after i had her than i had weighed in like 2 years and i gained like 30lbs i think when i was pregnant. so just stay in shape and use tons of lotion so you dont get stretch marks!!!!

You'll eventually gain your weight. But don't forget that most of it is going to be your "water" and the baby. Just eat healthy and your body will do the rest. It already knows what needs to be done. =)

You will gain it eventually. As long as you're eating properly, and taking in at least 300 extra healthy calories a day, you should be fine. The doctor should be monitoring your weight gain and if anything alarming happens, they will let you know. I gained a total of 30 pounds and lost all but about 5 in the first two weeks of having my daughter. Weight is monitored by the doctor, though. Just make sure you're eating enough.

being that small you may not gain much weight and since you are only 16 weeks along i wouldnt start worrying yet i didnt start to gain weight until 5 months but everyone is different and if you are really worried talk to your doctor. although we are full of information we didnt go to school for years to learn everything there is to know and im sure your doctor would be more than happy to answer your questions Good Luck and God Bless!

with you being that little just be careful. my sister in law was that tiny and her body just couldnt come to full term and her baby was almost 3 months premature! shes 2 now and cp but other than that she is doing fine!

i didn't start showing until i was 5 and a half months . every one is different .
as long as your measurements are good and the doctor says baby is fine and so are you .. there is nothing to worry about =)
in the last few weeks you'll probably blow up like a balloon . lol

well hun i only gain 12-13 kilo and that was just the belly like the baby n all the fluids n all that stuff,, bcuz i weighed 55 b4 i got pregnant then when i had him i weighed 55 so, u just gotta eat the write things when u feel hungry u eat girl dw bout ur weight at the start bcuz its nuthing uve gotta put on weight for your baby ok XX

all women are different...some you can never really tell are pregnant...i on the other hand became a HUGE COW!!! haha...but one of my friends gained only like 9 lbs in her entire pregnancy and i have known other women with similar stories...just consider yourself lucky!!!!

I was exactly the same i was a model, i didnt show at all until i was 6 months then when i was full term i looked slightly chubby, have a few stretch marks but i wouldnt be too worried about the weight it will make it easyer to lose it after =)

by the time i was 24 weeks i had only gained 10 lbs. the last two months i gained a lot, so don't worry!
