Thank you everyone, and I am a borderline gestational diabetic, so thats why they are keeping such a close eye on everything thats going on with him.
They have only said they were going to induce me a week before his December 16th due date. I don't know if its for the best, or what?
My doctors office doesn't really take the time to sit down and explain things to me, which is irritating at times, but it it can be super frustrating. I'm only 17, and I usually go to these appointments, by myself, or with my baby daddy. He doesn't speak up much either. :(

I don't have troubles with my baby's dad, but we do have our issues from time to time - so feel free to talk to me about anything that needs to be discussed here. But it's not true that induced labor hurts worse than natural labor. I was induced on October 17th, and I had my baby on the 18th. I really don't like pain; so 5 hours into my labor I was asking for epidural, after the epidural - everything went as cool as ice until it was time for my little one to come on out of course, but just for the record - I was in labor for 19 hours in total.

Why are you on such close watch?? are you a high-risk pregnancy or something??

hey arsillia :) i was induced one week early also... im not going to lie it hurts... but its not unbareable... on top of that i had back labour which is the worst labour!! i managed thru it with NO drugs except Gas (if u call it a drug, u still feel everything!! it just makes it more of a dream lol) and i had a 5hour labour, pushed for about 5mins, four pushes and he was out, no tears or stitches! im hoping im induced for my next bub too because the labour may be harder but its over SO MUCH FASTER :) trust me its a good thing!! dont stress!! just stay calm about it all and try to stand up the whole labour :)

i dont know about labour and all that, but I'm 17 and im pregnant at the moment with my first, a little boy. ill be 28 weeks tomorrow. i live in australia, i don't associate with my baby's dad. i prefer it that way. but yeah, i would love to hear from you. =]

Iv been induced with all three of my children so im not sure if being induced hurts more but its purpose is to move you along throgh the labor more faster, but one thing i do know is that if you dont lose your composure during the bad contractions labor moves more quickly. I got the epidural with my first to kids. and did it natural with my daughter who is 8 mos. now.

i was pregnant with my first when i was 15yrs of age, 4 weeks after i turned 16, i had a babygirl...
now i'm almost 21yrs of age and i have a near 5yr old girl and a 7month old baby !!

i would love to help ANY young mum as much as i can !

I was induced because I had high blood pressure, I have only had one baby, so I don't know if induced labour hurts more or less..But it is going to hurt no matter what. And you forget all the pain as soon as you see your baby. I had an epidural half way through my labour once the contractions got to a point where I couldn't handle them anymore, so my pain was non existent after that :) I thought it was going to hurt a lot more than it did, so I was a bit surprised when it didn't..

I wouldn't know because I only have one baby....But I had no pain meds whatsever....And I don't want to freak you out but I also don't want to lie..It does hurt like hell...It hurts worse than anything else....But it's also not near as bad as people seem to make it sound...I know it sounds weird....But it's true...

Hi....I'm not in California and I don't have problems with my baby's daddy...But I am totally here for you if you need anything. My son will be 2 on Sunday but I was induced with him. It's a little bit scary but it's not too bad...You can add me on facebook, if you want: Jessica Joulie
