I bled HEAVILY starting at 6 weeks with my last pregnancy. Even passed a few clots. I started anxiety and dreading another miscarriage. Had several ultrasounds that all showed a happy, healthy heartbeat. After the third ultrasound the dr on call was finally able to tell me it was just a blood clot behind the placenta that was bleeding out from the vessels burrowing deeper into the uterus. The bleeding finally subsided around 3 months. If your doctor tells you not to worry, then I wouldn't. If the bleeding gets heaver then call your dr.

i still had my period regularly for the first three months i was pregnant. I now have a beautiful 8 week old baby girl. If the doctor isnt concerned about it, I wouldnt be either. If it were alarming to the doctor they would do something about it and send you for further testing to verify everything were still ok

If the bleeding persists and seems to get heavier then consult your doctor but if it's lighter than your normal period then it's fine :)

Well..if the bleeding carries on it could be a sign of misscary, if u start to get cramps aswell go and visit your midwife. I was getting bad cramps and i am 17 weeks pregnant with my first child, my midwife told me if i start bleeding it could be a sign. Im not telling you to worry but dont think everything is alright. Just see what happens within the next few weeks. Good luck and dont stress out too much it will make it worse.

I know a few people who bled for the first few months of being pregnant. Everything turned out just fine for them and they have beautiful healthy babies. They was just having a period like usual. If the doctor has said everything is fine then i really wouldnt worry.. I have bled a few times during my pregnancy and i understand how scary and worrying it is. Im 37 weeks pregnant and a few weeks ago i bled again a little bit. Like alot of people have said its just your body changing. Ofcorse if you do feel like something is wrong you should just get checked again. congrats anyways and good luck x

i started bleeding at 3 months and a half and they told me it was normal but then i started bleeding once again at 5 months this was followed by contractions and by then i got accepted into hospital until i was 7 mnths pregnant andi had my beautiful baby boy. all this was caused due to stress so dont get stressed out just ignore things for the moment and dont worry cause everything turns out ok. i was also told that the bleeding was cause by both stress and walking too much so dont listen to people when they say walkings healthy because it could also be harmful!!
good luck and i hope everythings turns out ok!!

For both of my pregnancies I bleed for the first 4 months as if I was having a normal period. My doctor told me that some women do and it's nothing to worry about.

It's just because your body is used to having a period, and it's still adjusting to the hormone changes, that's what my Doc told me anyways. Good Luck, and Congratulations.

Hey. if the doctor has told you theres nothing wrong then i wouldn't worry. Alot of women have some form of bleeding during pregnancy. I did at about 12 weeks and went on to have a normal pregnancy. Good luck!
