im looking to try to start a mommy group in fremont nebraska. id like to get to know more moms and their children adn start setting up playdates and such. my son is an only child so far and i watn to make sure he gets the experience of havin other kids around so he doesnt freak out too much if we have another down the road. and id like to meet some mommys goin through the same things as me. just to kinda compare things and get advice and such. if you are interested please let me know. could probably do one for fremont/omaha in stead of just fremont.

yea well the daycares in the area i live in im not fond of. ive worked in several and im not fond of the way alot of things are handled. n all the other daycares here are at churches which frown upon me for being a single unwed mother so that doesnt really work for me. plus i cant afford daycare anyway. my sons godmother watches him for free so y would i spend money puttin him in a daycare when all i want to do is make new friends get advice n socialize my son. thank you for your advice but id reallly like to stick with my original plan the mommy group. thankyou tho for trying. i appreciate it.

i know your looking to start a group a good idea but how my only child met other babies and how i met other mothers, they were older than me but has a lot of helpful advise was by taking my baby girl to daycare. ive met lots of moms and my baby interacts with other babies at different age groups. its just an idea. also some hospitals have a group for moms to meet other moms my hospital in arizona has something called moms on the move its a great way to meet moms. i hope this helped
