im 18 and my daughter is 15 months old..her dad has ben around for a total of 3 months the whole time..i'd really like some advice on how other single moms are dealin with raisin their kids after the father has jus walked off..

im 27 and have a 19 year old son and a 7 year old daughter. my daughters father is a dead beat he does not want to help me do anything for her or do anything with her. If i ask for something it's always i ain't go t no money. he never spends any time with her he is always with his new girlfriend and her three kids.

A subject that makes me cringe.....I'm 20 years of age my boy is 2 years and 3 months. So lifes getting on for my little wee bundle of joy. When i was 25 weeks pregnant babys dad who was alot older left me for good by leaving a note outside my bedroom window. not knowing that myself or my beauitful son would never ever see him again. He said that the child is not his and therefore wanting a DNA test. That he had heard rumours about me and if they were true that would determine whether he would see my son. This guy has a 10 year old daughter, which would be my sons half sister. They have never met. I not sure if this guy is dead or alive. What gets me the most is how can they live life knowing theres a child out there thats theirs...that could be the and is the most special part about life its self.
I was then very lucky to meet someone at 27 weeks, I have been with my now recent husband since and my son calls him Daddy. Don't worry we are not hiding n e thing from blake. We know when we will tell him everything. Obviously my son is better off. Thankyou for letting me share my story.

I am alomost 20 years old I have a 6 month old baby girl whos father has done the same he comes and goes he may come and see her one day and then not come around for weeks I just go about our life and I dont let it hold me back she is what is important now and if he is that heartless to jsut walk away from her that is his loss at least you know she has you and to me thats all that matters
