My daughter cut her teeth at 4 months. She started to get them in 2 at a time or more. Now at 10 months she has 11 teeth.

that could be what it is...wash your hands really well and try feeling her gums. if there is a hard spot, thats probably where the tooth will come in.. try baby orajel. my little sister hated it but it works for some babies

my son started getn his 2 front teeth at like 3 to 4 months. So it just various w/ each baby. But if I remember right, I think they do or can get a slight fever when teething. they'll just act aggravated and knaw on everything. And not to mention all the drool

Babies can reach any of the miles stones at any time. There are babies with full sets of teeth by nine months. The time periods for milestones such as walking, talking etc are just a guide. Dont worry, my 6 month old has two teeth, it is totally normal to be teething at five months!

5 months isn't that young, my son just turned 3 months old a couple days ago, he has red cheeks too, he stating to cut teeth about a week ago. Try getting a wash cloth wet and put it in the freezer for a half hour to an hour to chill it, then let your baby suck and chew on it, its very soothing and its not hard like teeting rings.

I dont think any time is too early for teeth. One of my mom's sisters was born with teeth, and one of my little cousins did not get 1 tooth until she was 16months old.

No, I have a niece and she is 4 months and she is getting 2 teeth in. She has been to the doctors recently too for thrush and the doctor didn't think anything of it.
