My son was born with strawberry blonde hair but I was born with dark brown hair and his daddy was born with bleach blonde hair which now turned to dirty blonde hair.. Where did my son get his red hair from?? I was adopted so I don't really know my family history..

I would say that someone on either your side or his dad's side of the family has strawberry blonde hair or even red. My hair is really dark brown, on the verge of being black if I don't dye it. My husband has dirty blonde hair but he waas born with bleach blonde too. My little girls hair is strawberry blonde! You can see SO much red in it! My hubs mother's hair is strawberry blondish.. not quite as red as my little girl's but I believe that thats where she gets it from. Red hair is genetic so somewhere in the family line someone has it! :)
