i wouldnt let ur child do that as they will demand to do that to other children and adults. but this could be his way of trying to get to know the baby

your baby will be fine!! Also, teach your one year old not to do that.

My daughter used to do that to me when i was pregnant with my son, and he turned out fine. The baby is very protected in the womb, but if it really worries you, you could just try to stop your 1 year old from jumping on your tummy.

Your baby will be fine. My son was 16mnths old when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, and he would head butt me in the stomach. He would also jump all over me. Babies are really durable. I had my third, who was a preemie, the day after my second turned 15mnths old. My 15mnth old was constantly sitting on top of my preemie while she was in the swing or bouncer seat, but never hurt her. We use to have to hide our preemie from our daughter due to the fact that she loved to throw things at her, ect. It wasn't my daughter's fault, she was born with autism. My baby was just a toy in her eyes.

I think it all depends on how big/heavy your 1yr old is. Maybe ask your child's pediatrician and/or your OB to find out for sure. I know if I was in your situation I wouldn't allow it just to be on the safe side.
