Hey I'm nora I'm 21 and mother of a 16 month old girl and 5 months pregnant with a. Boy. Trust me I know how u feel I just got my license 2 days ago but up till then I was stuck home all day every day my husband worked 14 hour days and I didn't drive and was just home nearly 2 years alone all day it got so bad I had to start taking antidepressants to help me out. My friends seem too busey for me and my family live 45 min away and never want. To visit. My daughter is my only real friend at the moment. Sad but true without her I would be lost. I am 19 (nearly 20) years old and I have been with my partner for nearly 3 years now. I moved in with him early and we have been acting like we are married since then.
My son is nearly 2 and just started playgroup, and he loves it.
I know how you feel. It does get very lonely being a young mum, all of my friends are off at some night club almost every night, and all the other mums in my town are alot older than me.

May I suggest you avoid the teen scene, the average teen mom ends up wanting to party and is not in love being a mom. I was a teen mom at 16 and stuck by myself until I made friends in a church. I learned from older mothers and my children made friends too:) Feel free to look me up on FB!

My name is Sarah and I am 23. I had my son when I was 17, and I spent my 18th birthday breastfeeding. But that is okay, my son is the light of my life. He is 6 and in 1st grade. Time sure does whiz by, the next time I blink he will be getting married. :( I am a stay-at-home mom as well. For awhile, it didn't matter how far away from my family was, I got it from all sides. Everyone has their childhood as a basis for how they raise their children, and it is those very people who taught us that try to tell us we NEED to do things different. I'm Alysha and just turned 20 a few months ago. My daughter is 4.5 months and I know what you mean by you're tired of having people telling you what to do. My family does that to me on a regular basis.
I'm not married, I live at home and I really don't have any friends to talk to either. Even though most of my friends are parents, none of them seem to want to hang out with me or have a play date with our children. It's pretty sad now that I really think about it.

I had friends in high school, but then became pregnant with my son and graduated, and lost all my friends. My boyfriend is my one and only friend and it is a sad feeling. I was 16 when i fell pregnant with my little man, and i lost most of my so called friends and it became a lonely world. I joined a mother group( it was for mums under 25) so we were all going thru the same things it helped so much and i became very close to some of the girls in the group. My lil man is now 4yr old and my phone is still my life( matter of speaking) as its my contact with the 'outside' world. I still find time to go out, but most of my friends have children because the ones that dont, Don't really understand.
