Hi everyone. =] I was just wondering if anyone else went to prom pregnant? Im 17 & graduated a year early from Youthbuild last June. But my baby's father (my boyfriend of 4 years) is still a Senior in High School. I'm due on May 9th & prom is in April. lol So I'm gonna be pretty big. Were any of you able to wear a normal prom dress even though you were really far along? Or do you know anywhere I could find a nice dress? I found a couple maternity dresses but none of them are really "Prom Worthy," per se.

I went to a shop and they told me they would adjust the dress to where it fit perfect. If you still want to look stunning in a beautiful dress, just try a few on that you think are pretty. they can work with you. My dress was silver and grey and it looked like a designer gown. And I must say to me even though I was pregnant I was the most stunning. I should warn you though the total of the dress and fitting was like 400 dollars. all I can say is make sure when the lady who is adjusting your dress can have it ready in a week or two before prom. my belly got bigger and it almost didn't fit. another tip is to have a lace tie up in the back so if you do you can work with it.

another idea is if you dont like the maternity dress idea, be prepared for a long day and bring a few good honest friends and look for regular ones but in an empire style or baby doll and just go a bit bigger because youll have the chest to fill it out if you didnt already and it mayb cheaper then maternity stuff, im from canada but places up here like winners always get sooo many around prom time for crazy good deals, i know u have stores like that i just cant think of the names lol, hope that helps. btw i was 5 months pregnant with twins at the time of my prom, i didnt go but i would have been about the size youll be lol

I was pregnant when I went to my Coronation (thats what we call our homecoming dance) and my friends parents bought me the cutest black maternity dress. it was from J.C. Penny I think...if youre looking for something real cute go to Khols or maybe Gordmans they both have very cute outfits.
