My 4 year old is having accidents still (just bowel movements) is she just being lazy help!

Hello my 4 year old has been having accidents at least twice a week she claims she didn't know she had to go ..when I asked the pediatricians about it they told me that she is probably constapated and prescribed meds I don't know if I believe that is she just being lazy is this a phase? Pleas help

Could be a phase. I know a little girl going through the same. If you can just ask her if anything's bothering her though. Does she have a sore tummy. Or is anything upsetting her. Just to try and rule out other possibilities.
