try a support group. Some places hold them just for teen moms. Le Leche League is where I went because I wanted to breastfeed and hang out with moms who were moms. I was really young but there were teens in there too.

I was 18 wen i fell preg and 19 wen i had my son, it was a planned pregnancy so i could not stand wen people would say aww to bad, uve wrecked ur life, and most of that was coming from my brother && mother!! Since having my son ive foudn that it is sooo much easier to be friends wiv others that have children.. My friends that dont have kids are constantly telling me to let my mum watch my son and that just shits me off because im Declans mother, he is mine and my partners to take care of.. so yea know exactly how u feel..

i know how you feel! i was 15 when i got pregnant but i didnt have my son until i was 16 and then when i was 18 i had our second son and now im 20 almost 21 and we are having our first girl! its rough when friends back out on you! my friends still talk to me every blue moon and everything and are GREAT with my kids but i cant talk to them about what im going through with my kids because they wont understand why lol! im here is you need to talk my husband and i have a joint facebook so the name is destanie n victor garcia ♥ hope all is well

I got pregnant my second semester in college and I lost all of my so called friends. they thought i would be to busy with a baby and wouldn't want to hang out which defiently isn't true. Hey im Loretta and im 21 and i have a 2 and a half year old son named Daemon and 1 on the way which im thinking about adoption for because of financial,emotional and physically reasons but thats a bummer that your friends stopped talking to you when you got pregnant...those arent real friends,they dont understand and im sorry. I got pregnant @ 18 had my son at 19 but i still felt like and still do feel like a really young mom.Im glad your excited about having a baby! =] Do you have any names picked out yet?

Well hun I'm not your age but I've been in the same boat. I was 17 when I had my first. It's not easy but you will get through it. Also you'll find people to become friends with. People change and with that so do friends. Keep your chin up do your best sweetie

i had exactly the same things happen 2 me. i was 15 when i feel pregnant with my daughter 16 when i had her. im now 29 !!:( it is hard at times but keep ure chin up and be proud theres older mums in the world that cant look after them selves let alone their baby !! xx

I found out i was pregnant when i was 17 I turned 18 when i was 3 months pregnant and now i am 19 with an almost 8month old baby girl. She is my pride and joy and I have also lost many friends. I would rather have my daughter and my fiance anyways because all my "friends" treat me like crap. I am always here to talk I love listening to people. Hi I also had my first baby at 17! I went through the whole "friends" stop talking to me. The first thing i realized was that those people were never really my friends in the first place. I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant with my second baby and i wouldnt take anything back for the world.Good luck and congrats!

Im Stephanie , I have a 4 yr old daughter, I had her when I was 14. I went thru the sme thing as you, but like always I never mind what people would say. If your friends stopped talking to you, well think of it this way they're really not your friends. Worry about what makes you happy and not other. When you have your baby nothing else is going to matter but him. Friends come n go. Later on you'll meet a lot of teenage parents and who will support you, and trust me you're not the first and last to be a teenage mom, so dont mind the people. I was also in same position i was 17 with first and 18 with second. To be honest my oldest is now 5 and have made more friends through school and those from before have stuck by me regardless. Have you got any mother baby groups near you for young mums or even antenatal? they are always good for making new friends or ask your midwife for teen groups.
