Dont ever compare your kid to anyone elses, all kids grow and discover at different rates. Thats from experience hun cuz I was really worried when my little one was not saying mom or dad and another little kid the same age was. It stressed me out so much until I finally realized who cares he will say it when hes ready. Also, like alot of these ladies said, take all the support you can get. BUT when you want time to just yourself and your little one make sure to let them know some people dont know when to leave. Also listen to everyones advice but dont follow it all, you'll know what to follow and what not to, its a motherly instinct that will kick into ya! Congrats on your first and try not to blink to much they grow up so fast it seems like just yesterday I was in labour with William and now on Nov 19th he will be a year old. Wish you all the luck in the world and dont worry you will do fine! Hugs!

GET SLEEP NOW lol ok heres my advice 1. Listen to peoples advice but YOU choose what is right for you and your baby 2.Let the baby sleep in his/her own bed even if its in your room or you will have them in there for a long time lol i know from experience 3. if your little one wont use a passifier dont try to force it on em its better in the future so you have one less thing to take away experience to haha 4. Have sex with your husband or boyfriend when you can you still need that 5. have date nights with your husband or boyfriend 6. spend every min with you little one they grow SOO fast 7. Be patient sometimes kids can get to you especially the older they get! 8. Take lots of pics cause eventually you will get a good one to show to there future girlfriends or boyfriends HAHA 9.Play with your little one everyday and 10. HAVE FUN with them

congrats. I have a set of two year old b/g twins and an almost four month old son. It's a journey that's for sure. And although challengeing I wouldn't change anything for the world. Enjoy each day, they grow up way to quickly. If you need more specific advice feel free to ask :)

Trust your instincts. If you can't hear them, find a way to be quiet enough that you can.

Congratulations on your first pregnancy! Your over the morning sickness I hope if you had any at all. So 18 weeks you will find out what your having if you decided too..soo exciting! As far as labour goes everyone's different, dont believe what you see on TV. When babies here, rest when you can, accept all the support and help that is available and remember first babies are trial and error, we are human and make mistakes, there is no such thing as supermum, unless you are blessed with an angel baby things can be hard, just persevere, you will have good days and bad days. Just do what is right for you and baby and enjoy every minute. My son is two years old now and i'm pregnant with my second so it can't be that bad right hehe. ENJOY! Being a mum is the best thing ever. Take care of yourself!

its not as easy as people think it is, sleep while your baby is sleeping, coz chances are you will not be getting much during the night. practise comes with time. try to always be calm around your child. they sense your feeling and it rubs off onto them. Congrats on your first child. I only have 1 too. Hope all goes well :)
