bear with me girls, i'm venting! I went to the school to pick up by 9 yr old brother 2day, cuz my mum is sick. i walked in2 the school, with my cane (i'm nrli blind btw) and my 7 mnth old in a baby sling, and as i wlked past a group of women, 1 of them turned 2 the others n said

'ppl like her shudn't b allowed 2 have kids, she shud get sterilised, think of that poor kid, what kind of life will he have with a blind mother?' i was absolutly gobsmacked. I couldn't believe it. To think that some silly cow could actually sit there, and say something like that to me, a perfect stranger!

That's disgusting! What kind of ignorant person says that? I feel sorry for that lady's kids, imagine the kind of crap she teaches them. Don't you wish you could go back in time when crap like this happens? I'm always stunned when I hear or see people who are ignorant like that so I never know what to say at the time. I always think of the best comebacks after the fact. lol Don't let what the evil bitch said bother you. Her own life must be so crappy that she has to make herself feel better by picking on someone else.

That is unbelievable and sooo ridiculous! Uneducated people are the worst! I believe that it is their children that are suffering at the hands of their biased views. Every child should know that all people are different and the differences between us are just the things that make us beautiful and special. Your children are the lucky ones :-)
