I have a question that will probably be TMI for some people, but hopefully someone can help. I am now 5 months pregnant with twins and am now too big to see to be able to shave "down there". Did/does anyone else have this problem and what did you do about it?

i would just forget about chaving down there just cuz the bigger you get the more uncomfortable it will be to try too...i was really big by the time i was 5 months with just one baby so i just decided to wait until after i delivered him

I was the same I had a very big bump when I was full term I was measuring 50cm my son was 10pound 4 and half so I found that I couldn't see down from about 5-6months and there was no way I could have left it i'm like you and hate the feel. I managed buy just doing everything by feeling really worked for me.

I'm 6 months pregnant now and I can't shave down there anymore either. I'm just gonna wait now until after I give birth, maybe you should do the same. :) Of course I did have my husband trim it for me because i didn't like how the hair felt. You could od the same yourself or get help i'm sure. :) also, my mother says they have Nair for "down there" hair. You coul always invest in that. Good luck!

yes i did. at about 7 months i gave up shaving. i would stand in front of a mirror though and trim it with a pair of nail scissors so it didn't get too bad

Ha i had the same problem. And all i could do was shave my bikini line until after i had the kid but even then i didn't care much because after u have the kid you just feel uncomfortably anyways so that is the least of your worries and if your worried about the doctor or someone thinking its gross, they see those things everyday they dont care haha.

When it seemed to be impossible, I used a mirror. I hated not being able to see, and I didn't want to go all natural.
It can be difficult, but it really does work.

i shaved 'down there' my entire pregnancy. it gets harder to do the further along you are. Try sitting in the floor or on a chair and use a large mirror. Makes things a lot easier.

i am with tho other girls on this one im 8 months and i am still able to shave "down there" and i know what you mean when you say its more of the feeling that bothers you, it drives my nuts to not be able to shave, if you have shaved for a long time what i do is just picture how i shave before i got too big to be able to see so its kind of like a mind coordination type thing it works for me and then i ask my husband if i got it and a normally get most of it, but anywayas i hope that helps a little

trust me... it goes get VERY hard when you get so far along. i solved that problem by getting down on all fours in the bath tub (embarrassing..i know) and used a mirror and just guided myself around. hahaha, VERY awkward, but it worked.

I had this problem late in both my pregnancies. I went for a salon wax, needs to be done much less often and it means that there is no need to put your back out or risk falling flat on your face trying to get into a position where you can see what your doing. Failing that, maybe you have a (very!) close girlfriend or someone else who would be willing to do a wax for you.

It is important that you look after yourself and feel attractive during your pregnancy, your not just a baby carrier your still a woman.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. x

it got to that point for me too. i used a mirror or just guessed, my fiance also would help me out sometimes when it got to the point that i couldn't handle it. also i would take a bath and lay down and try to pull my stomach back and to the side to see...i hope you find something that works for you, oh and i used scissors to get down near the lips, but that took a long time because i was using my fingers and feeling to make sure that i didn't cut myself.

I had a problem with that lol and I asked my husband to do it and he did it..So you could ask the baby's dad to do it or someone that you really trust and don't mind them looking.

i kno ur feeling im 5 mos too, and im finding it harder and harder to get down there, even trying to bend over to shave my legs, but just as many of the other girls have said sitting on the side of the tub and putting ur leg up on the other helps me out soooo much!

well i stopped cuz i couldnt do it anymore after 7 months but i actually had a friend that HAD to have it shaved but she couldnt do it herself so she started to go get waxed. but instead of spending that money save it girl and talk to your partner to see if he will do it.

Haha that drove me pretty insane as well. I didnt hve help in that department so I winged it. My doctor told me to stop shaving though so I was like wtf. I guess something about keeping bacteria out or whatevv, so I shaved until i was like 7 months then let it go.

LOL.. Yeah, i'm 5 months pregnant with one big baby girl and can barely SEE down there. I make my boyfriend sit in the bathroom with me cuz i get really dizzy and i'm horribly balanced so i am afraid i'll slip (plus it gives me someone to talk to) :) I'm having trouble shaving my legs cuz its a stand up shower but really, touch and feel, thats the best way. I hate the mirror cuz i have to look down for so long. I just trim it now. Good luck!!!!

I did when I was pregnant with my daughter. All I can say is if you have a man see if he's willing to do it or just wax down there and have him help out.Mine had no problem with it.He knows how grumpy and irradiated I get if I couldn't get down there. But I just stopped cause I guess all the tiny cuts you get down there carry bacteria down there and stuff.Idk my doctor went on cause I asked her about it.
