just curious to know what names everyone had picked out for if they had a son or daughter before they found out they were pregnant and if you changed your mind and the reasons?

My son got his middle name because my brother Was going to use the middle name Theodrick but his partner does not want to have kids so he told me that I could use that middle name so I did. Then I picked Jasper cuz I thought it sounded good with teodirck and as well like my own name it is not a common name.

My sons name is Haydyn Scott. We had the name Kaiden picked out up until the day we found out he was a boy. Then my husband decided there were too many Kaiden's n he preferred Haydyn anyways. He chose the different speeling of the name, which i like because i dont like to be original. Scott is my husbands middle name n his fathers middle name so we juststuck with it. If he had been a girl, the name ive had picked for a girl since long before ever wanting kids is Kyleigh Skye, just something I like!

my daughters name will be Leighlyn Alyse♥ we had leighlyn picked out LONG before i even thought about being prego. i LOVE original names.. my name is Brittany and i HATE that it is so common. I feel like a mother should put alot of thought into a childs name, and make it unique and special. I guess i had heard the name leland and liked the way it sounded.. so i spent MANY hours playing with the spelling until i made it JUST RIGHT! for a long time it was going to be Leighlyn Ashayne. I really liked it.. but my S.O wanted her to be named Leighlyn Alyse.. alyse is my middle name. And i dont like naming kids after their parents.. i think it is too clechae (cant spell that lol)
but he said that it would mean alot to him... and it did have a pretty ring to it... lol so that was that.

My Daughters name Is Rhiley Jennifer. We decided on Rhiley for a girl when I was only about 3 months pregnant we wanted to spell it a little differently than how it is normally spelled. Her middle name is after the best friend i had all through High school. If we had a boy it was going to be Logan Steven Michael. Steven after my Dad and Michael after my boyfriends grandfather who passed away last year.

My daughter's name is Willow Alice. I was looking through a baby name book with my mother, and we stumbled upon it. It was so beautiful, that that was all it took, and I didn't change my mind. Alice is my mothers name, so I took it after her.

Both my grandparents and my partners grandparents were from Ireland so we decided we would like an Irish name. We called our son Rylan (everyone always thinks hes called Riley lol) and my brother in law chose his middle name, so hes called Rylan Alexander

My son's name is Tristan Armand. Tristan is just a name that I've always loved and Armand was his daddy's great grandpa's name. Our next one will be Kyrie Mae if it's a girl and Jacob Anthony if it's a boy.

My daughters name is Elizabeth Catherine. When we found out I was pregnant we had the name Andrew picked out for a girl and Annabelle for a girl, but there is a cartoon from disney, called Annabelles wish and Annabelle is a cow! So that didnt work also my sister kept on saying we could call her Bella and I didnt want her nickname to be Bella I wanted it to be Anna. My Aunt's name was Elizabeth and she died when she was 12, so we decided to use that and then my grandma's name is Catherine so we used that to! My son's name is Liam Ryan it was really hard to name him I wanted something after his daddy which is Ryan James, we were never able to find out what he was so we had 2 girls names and two boys names picked out. Anastasia Sophia and Sophia Grace for girls and either Andrew James or Liam Ryan for a boy his daddy had the final choice since he is always the fist to see the baby and he chose Liam!

Before I was even pregnant my boyfriend and I already had a name picked out for if/when we have a girl, its Layla Jane, Layla has always been my favourite girl name
and I would not budge on that, thankfully my partner agreed, Jane is also my middle name. We had a lilttle boy, so we are saving that name for when we do have a girl.
With boy names I had a list of my favourite and my partner said which ones he liked
So together we picked
Blake, I didnt pick his middle name until the day after he was born and out of nowhere
came up with Riley so his Blake Riley and I love the name, not named after anyone but himself lol.

I was originally going to name my son Damian, but my fiancee's best friend was Damnian. So I chose the name Aiden. I love that name and I gave him his middle name Russell after my Pop and deceased Uncle. :) I love my son.

We didn't know if we were having boys or girls (we have 4 kids) so we picked out a girl name and boy name each time. My husband likes very common names and I like less common, not weird, just uncommon. We go through name books and each make our own list. Then we veto some off of eachothers' until we have it paired down to one list and finally a name. Their middle names are all family names.

okay this is gonna be long. my son has three middle names. two were picked before he was born. his first name i had picked Caden.. until someone who i know and who didn't like me had her son first and named him Cade. so we settled on Jacob.

middle names:
John is after my dad who died when i was a baby
martin was added last minuet for my grandmother. its the name of my uncle who died
Donald was the name of my sons fathers grandfather

now for my daughter her name is Kaycie lillianna reid . i loved the name Lilianna but my cousin have a duaghter whos name is Lillian so i gave her lillianna as a middle name instead. i had to find a first name that flowed well and wasn;t to long Kaycie was perfect (i let my mom pick the spelling) and Reid is also one of my middle names. it was my fathers last nameso she got it as a middle name to. i had Kaycies whole name picked out before she was born.

My first son was named after my brother. He passed away 6 months before my son was born. My youngest was just because I always like the name Alex

Our daughter was going to be Charlotte. We wanted that name since before I fell pregnant and then we had everyone calling my belly Charlie and Charls and we thought, No. Not going to happen. My partner wanted Jasmine so that became her middle name, and about 1 week before she was born we decided on Abigail from a name book. It means A Fathers Joy. And seeing as she was always going to be the love of her dad's life it seemed appropriate.

I don't know if anyone else felt this way, but I always know I was having a girl so those were the only names I looked at. Little did I know her name was going to come from a little girl trying to get into my bathroom stall one day while I was at work. When I heard her sister say her name I just fell in love with it. So when December rolled around, out popped Winter. I get cracks all the time about her actually being born during that season, but I think it's a beautiful name and was glad I stuck by it during my pregnancy

I know this may sound odd how I got my daughter's name but here goes :] I am the oldest of 4 siblings in my family and my littlest sibling Ayden Asher is my favorite (I know I shouldn't play favorites Lol), and he was like my baby before my baby. I never thought I'd have kids but I always knew in the back of my head I'd name my child after my favorite person on earth, my brother. When I found out I was pregnant I immediately decided Asher would be it's name boy or girl. My husband and I decided that since I picked the first name as someone on my side of the family, we would have the middle name be from his side. His mom's full name was Kaylynne but goes by Kay so we thought, hey if it's a boy we'll do Kae and if it's a girl we'll do Kaylynne. We ended up having a girl and were so happy with our choosing of her name, Asher Kaylynne Westley ♥

This is going to sound so silly but everyone use to tell me and my partner jesse to watch the movie 'the notebook' because everyone thought that noah out of the notebook was so much like my partner in looks and personality. omg its so true lol! Then when we found out we were having a baby boy i wanted to call him noah so bad! i didnt tell jesse though coz we had agreed that he would choose the name.
After i gave birth i blacked out for six hours and when i came to my partner handed our baby boy over saying 'meet Noah' i was so happy lol!

We picked the girls name Kiani from when we first started trying to fall pregnant. If we had a girl it was always going to be her name. Finally 2.5 years later we had our baby, (not knowing the sex) and it was a little girl. We wanted something different because of our last name and actually found it in a baby name book, we had never heard of it before then.
Isnt it weird that depending where you live, you may have never heard the name, (like us) yet overseas it is a very popular name, also like Chloie, Aiden and Logan are both very popular names where i live.
