I think you should get rib of him right away because his just using you!!! I have a friend that her boyfriend was like that too well short story, but he started having sex with others girls and got a sexually STD and give it to her!! and man i hate that dude because he was using her and he thought if he gave her an STD that she would keep him!! I think you should get rid of him, but don't stop him from seeing his son. guys are assholes thats just the way it seems to work most of the time but i know i would kill someone if my son was takin from me.

My advice to you would be to allow your sons father to see him, but try to met with him somewhere besides your house or his. If he doesn't want a proper relationship try your best to not put yourself in the situation where you could possibily end up having intercourse with him. I went thru the same problem and after 13 years my sons father is just now showing more intrest in his son. I allowed him to stay in contact with his son but I also made the desicion to continue on with my life. Don't be angry and resentful, its awful to live that way. Try to understand that wisdom and maturity take a life time, it may just be taking him long to realize how much he has.

i just broke up with my now ex boyfriend, because even though our relationship was good i wanted more from him in the daddy aspect for our son. i know he loves his son, his just really lazy.. im not going to make him come see tyler but i hope for my sons sake he does make an effort. if he comes over and just does what your ex does ill lay down the rules. Definitely don't stop him from seeing his son. While he's 17 now, maybe a year from now he'll realize that his son would like him in his life. But on the relationship aspect, ditch him. You deserve better.

Sounds like my ex. we were together until my son was 8 months old.. all he ever did was ignore him and play on his damned computer or watch tv. even if our son came over to him and reached up to him.. if he was on the computer he'd call me to come get Jake. if he was watching tv he might lift him up sit him on his lap and watch tv while ignoring him, then call me if he got to distracting. god forbid he looks away form the tv and gives his son attention. i got rid of him now he doesn't see our son or our new daughter (i found out i was pregnant again right after kicking him out) he lives on the other side of the country and im so happy i don't have to deal with him anymore!

i think you should tell him what you expect from him with reguards to your son but tell him that you want nothing to do with him sexually or relationship wise if you dont n tell him where he can go if he doesnt like it. my son doesnt have ne thing to do with his dad so i think as long as hes turning up to see his son you should let him. hope i helped xx

let him c ur son, because you dont want ur son to resent u for not lettin him no his dad, my partner never new his father n its really fucked him up emotionally, n the person he hates the most about it all is his mum because shes the one who stopped his father knowing him, my partner is in jail n ppl have told me to leave him n my son would b better off without him, but lil bois need there dad and im not gonna b the one to take that away from him

I think your best bet would mostly likely be to get away from him. for your sake and your son's. If he's not doing anything but trying to get in your pants when he's supposed to be spending time with his son, obviously his priorities aren't straight. He is just 17 like you said, so he's still got a LOT of growing up to do and he doesn't want to do it right now. My baby's father was 17 when we found out that I was pregnant, and he's still having difficulty with growing up. He's only 18 now, and our son won't be here until January, but still.
My personal opinion would be to not have him around for a while. Tell him that he can only come over to see his son and if he tries anything else then out the door he goes. It's easier said than done, but I know you can do it.

I think that as long as he wants to see his son you should let him. It's not your son's fault that his Dad is not the best Dad that he can be. Boys who are 17 years old tend to have a one track mind... it's all about sex. It's sad that he can't be more of a Dad but I don't think that you should take his right away of seeing his child.

like i am doing im setting up a thing where if he wants to see his son he has to go to another place where he is watched with a social worker, if he doesnt attend and doesnt seem intrested well you and your kids dont deserve the hassle so just f*ck him off
you and your ex have one thing in common and that your kids he needs to know this

i think that you should defo get rid of him, unfortunatly, he does have a right to see his son, but i think you would be better of gettin child matinance involved and make him have some responcabilite for his sone, or take it to the courts so he cant mess you around. i know it may be hard hunni, but if your better of without him, then why have him around?? xxxx
