My baby's father didn't like the fact that I 's name but who cares!! I sure didn't so you shouldn't either. It will be you that has to call that child by it's name the most. And you should fully enjoy the name while saying it. Name your child what you want...cuz you have every right to. Good luck and Congrats girl!

most of my family is upset that im going to name my baby boy after his father..but u know what as every one has said y should u care what other ppl. think???its your child if u wanna name him after a city n state that is completely your business!!so i hope u fallow what ever u decide to name your little bundle of joy!God Bless

It shouldnt matter what anyone else thinks! it's not their kids! AS long as YOU like the names and are happy calling them that for the rest of their life then do it!

my family and in laws didnt like my sons name bcuz you cant say Ethyn in spanish. haha.we Gave him a hispanic middle name. my son name is Ethyn Adrian. i told them he was my son and i could name him how ever i wanted like they did wit us.

Everyone hated what we were going to name our son. They still do but idc. It's my baby not theres. If they want a different name they can have one and name it whatever they want. If my son grows up and doesn't like his name he can change it if he wants.

love the name vaida! thats totally one i would pick if i were to have a girl! but to the subject everyone has such different preferences it would be impossible to find a name that everyone liked but pick one you like and the ppl who didnt like it to begin with will start relating the name to the cute baby and will love the name. i chose the name Nixon for my boy and my grandma HATED it b/c she was from the time when presedent nixon was present and said it was a discrase to name him after him!! but i wasnt naming my son after that presadent i was just naming him and my grandma refused to call the baby by his name and used his middle name for the first bit but then she came around and says the name suits my son very well and is cool about it haha so yah do what you want to do (sorry bout the long story)

Its true it is your baby and your the one that is going to have to live with it and call it and whatever you like is up to you and i love your boy name that is soo cute ♥ its like im calling my little boy Macauley Jack and everyone says to me that he will end up being a chave :/ but its my baby and just because of an name dunt make a difference to who they are going to be :) xx

both my and my boyfriend's parents and our older relatives hated how we gave our son the middle name of danger. but most people our age think its awesome. i am glad we did it.

My friend named her baby boy Malakai ( spelt different then you have spelt it). I like them they are unique and different!

Who cares. My mom absolutely hated the name Carter and that's what we had picked out for a boy (turned out we had a girl) and she absolutely loved the name Aubree Jo (daughters name). Completely opposite for my boyfriends mom she hated the name Aubree ( she calls her AJ now) and loved the name Carter. We didn't care what anyone thought we stuck by the names we had because we liked them.

you dont say what their names are but if you like them then why bother what anyone else thinks. so long as it nothing that will embaress them as teenagers then why bother worrying. you love your kids they will love you and thats all that matters. congratulations on your babies and enjoy them you have the most rewarding job in the world when your a mum. there are times you wont think so but beleive me you will get more enjoyment than heartache.

It's up to you what you name your baby, although I was in the same situation when I was expecting, and when other people don't like names you picked out then it does put you off a bit and you don't really know what to do, me and my husband couldn't agree on anything he hated they names I loved and likewise and although my little girls name wasn't one of my favourites, I couldn't think of anything cuter now :). You can't please everyone with a name, as long as you like it and think you wee one will when they are older thats all that matter! Good Luck and Congratulations! x
