i'm a teen mom and my pregnacy was not planned but i wouldn't change a thing, i'm not the teen mom who doesn't care and is never around and is so called not ready for the responsblity which i think is just an excuse they were ready to make the baby but not ready to give everything to / for there child what is wrong with loving your child what is wrong with giving everything your child derserves your child derserves everything the world, lifee is percious and your child is the most important how could they not be? iam the kind of mom where my daughter is number 1,my clothes dont fit right, no make up, hair products/time to fix hair, the time to spend with my daughter i would never trade for anything, the money to get something for my daughter wether its diapers milk food snacks clothes whatever makes my daughter happy makes me even more happy for those who look down on us and judge this is for you, you say that its wrong why i see those teen moms all the time the ones i mention in the begining of my conversation but i see moms of all ages that do the same its not teen moms its just plain stupid moms that do that if you wanna put a name on it i wouldn't say teen moms because it is moms of all ages

VERY WELL SAID GIRL ! I don't think we should be labelled, when other mothers of every age make mistakes. Older moms see young girls walking around with a baby and they glare at us. But look at all those older women who live on the street with their kids , all those older women who live off welfare because they are to lazy to get a job ! But you see us teen moms getting jobs , and finding resources that will help us raise our children. I think as teens we learn from our parents mistakes , and that makes us better parents :) I know i don't wanna be like my parents. I'm gonna stay by my little girls side every step of the way , and i will never leave her like my parents left me. I WILL be a good mother , and ALL of you wondeful TEEN MOTHERS out there are amazing mothers as well.. :D Don't let adults get you down , they know no more about raising a child then anyone else.

I'm the kind of mum that lets her kid whinge. I don't need to pretend I'm the best mum in the world just because i'm young doesn't mean I have to prove myself to people. I get my hair cut, I get new clothes when I want them, I put my kid in his swing chair and have dinner with his father and shower with him in the bathroom in his swing chair. I didn't buy much new stuff for the baby because people kept giving me things and I raid lifeline because he grows out of it in a month, he's not going to get everything he wants in life. I don't care if it makes me selfish.

More often then not it is teenage mothers who are unable to own up to the responsibilty.
I have a sister who has 6 kids, she is not a great mum. And she is 36.
I know many people I went to school with who are mothers...
They live at home, abuse drugs and alcohol.
Spend money on themselves.
There children are dirty and not very well dressed.
Not all teen mums are like this but where I come from MOST are.

very very well said my 29 year old sister inlaw living at home that cant even cook dinner for her own daughter get her own apartment her own car is a very very damn well good example of one of those people she was not a teen mom so apparently shes perfectly fine you know what why do we have to deal the reputation of other moms just because we are young
