They didn't have all the options they have today when my children were little just the baby orgel not as effective. Now they have all natural teething tablets that work great, my daughter uses them on my grandson.

my son is teething badly second time around ..

first time round teething gel,gripe water (he gets a lot of trapped wind cuz of it) and calpol helped.

however this time round that wasn't working as effectively so now we've got him an amber teething necklace ... its a miracle!

however its not helped with his wind so he's still having gripe water.

Our son loves frozen fruit. He also likes frozen wash clothes, ice cubes, frozen bagels, cold carrots. We also used all natural teething tablets. The most helpful for my son was the frozen fruit. Feels good and tastes good too :) Good luck!

I found that Motrin works, and the teeth tablets work really well.. My son got his first tooth when he was just barely 5 months old. He now has 7 teeth and is 9 months old. You just have to be patient.
