My baby is six months old and recently i quit my job to join the nursing program at my local college. It has been two weeks into school and i am probably the most stressed and overwhelmed i have ever been even when i was working 36 hours a week. Are there any other moms doing the same as me that have any tips?

1. Always make time for yourself to take a breather from your responsibilities.
2. Get baby on a structured schedule (sleeping and eating) so you can pretty much anticipate when you can study.
3. Do/start your homework THE SAME DAY you get the assignment.
4. Study even when its not necessary. This will really help come midterms and finals.
5. Get to know your instructors and your classmates. Instructors will be more likely to pump your grade up if you are inbetween grades. You need to know your classmates so you have contact people in case you miss a day/if you need help in the class.
6. go to tutorial/try out tutors and try to find one that teaches to your listening.
7. Do something every day, you'll be less likely to get behind.
8. Make time for your family, esp little ones, so they don't start to feel neglected.
Hope this helps!

Hey, I'm a single mom and I'm also going to school full time. I have a one year old and she is such a hand full! I go to school for 8 hours Monday - Friday and I also have 2 jobs. Its crazy but for some reason I like it? haha. I see my daughter a lot also so its not like I'm never there or anything, but I'm doing this for us so we can have a better life and so I can afford the things she needs. I don't get much help since her dad isn't in the picture and my boy friend didn't move with us when I moved to go to school but he only lives 35 minutes away so its not a big deal, I only get help on the weekends when I work, then my mom takes my daughter. But yea it sucks, I can never go out or do anything cuz im always at school or at work but its ok I know that this will turn out for the better...hope you are doing well!
