Wanted to know what age you had your baby?

I had just turned 16 when I got pregnant and had my son 2 months before my 17th birthday, The father was 19/20 and he has only seen one picture of my son, (hospital picture). My son will turn 18 in April, and is a great kid with a bright future. I only finished the 8th grade, but have a GED. I had not let that stop me from succeeding, I work in a maximum security prison (11 years), I am a supervisor, a classroom instructor for fellow staff members, a firearms instructor, and plan to continue further. I never let my circumstances dictate how successful I become, or determine that I was going to become a certain kind of person.

I had my 1st daughter at 17, my second at 19, my 3rd at 21 and i turned 23 on 22/03/10 and my 4th baby is due 13/04/10. Would'nt change them for the world!!! 1st babys dad and i were already seperated when she was born. They have no contact, 2nd and 3rd babies dad anded up being extremely violent towards me and ended up in prison, He has no contact. I found my childhood sweetheart again on facebook. He is a fabulous step father to my 3 girls and he will be a wonderful father when our son comes into the world in 2 weeks time. I have 10 A* GCSE'S and a level 2 certificate in beauty therapy. I also have a level 2 certificate in acrylic nails, a level 2 Hive Waxing certificate and i got student of the year 2009. I plan to return to college in september to do my Level 3 in Beauty Therapy. I was 16 when I got pregnant with my oldest daughter I had her at 17. The guy was 18. He didnt stick around. I finished high school than I went to work and meet my husband there I married him at 19. I got pregnant with my youngest daughter when I was 19 I had her at 20. My husband is 28. I've been living on my own since I was 18.

Hi my name is Brittani I got pregnant at 17 had her at 18 the father I believe was 21 we stayed together until she was 8 months cause I found out he was cheating on me then he didn't see her for 3yrs my fiance now has been her Daddy since she was 8months and he Loves her as if she were his own he treats her like a Princess. I decided to let her real dad see her a couple times after she turned 3 but then he showed me he still hasnt changed so I decided she definately doesnt need him in her life and she hasnt seen him since. She knows who has been there and who her Daddy is : ).

Tara, pregnant at 20 mommy to one at 21. The father of my baby was 24. He has never met my baby, nor does he plan on it. I graduated highschool and I will start college in July. I am not working right now, but I do recieve assistance. I live with my mother in OH.

i was 17 when i fell pregnant and 17 when i had her the father was 18 and we seperated i was 18 when i fell pregnant again and 19 when i had him the father was 21 we fell pregnant a third time to the same guy at 20 and had a second daughter when i was 21 two months after our wedding we r now expecting a fourth child and my husband will 24 when this one is born and ill be 22. i finished high school and cert 3 in child care i am now doing cert 4 childcare through external atudies at TAFE i live in Australia WA we live on our own.

I was pregnant at age 16yrs and had my daughter at 17yrs. I graduated high school 2 weeks after having her and started college in the fall. Her father was 20yrs and in jail at the time of her birth. We had been together for 4 years prior to me getting pregnant and he has only seen her about 5 times in her lifetime and she is now 16yrs old. I have 2 other daughters that I had in my twenties, the last by my husband of 5 years. My oldest is an honor student and considers my husband her father because he has been around since she was 8yrs old.

Mother: 15 when I got pregnant. 16 when I had her. Father: 18 when we got pregnant and had her. He stayed. We are getting married in June. I graduated highschool on time. In my freshmen year of college in Maryland. Father is in the Army. Living with my parents until he comes home in May, then moving to Highland village with him and our daughter. Was working, but conflicted with university hours, so stay at home mom besides school and looking for a weekend job. Living off of my savings and my fiancee' sends money home every month.



I found out I was pregnant when I went for birth control because my fiancee' and me didn't want to use condoms anymore. The nurse gave me a pregnancy test that came back in seconds. With my size they thought I was three months. Then my doctor came and checked me and thought I was five months. The next day I had a sonogram and turned out to be six and a half months pregnant with a babygirl. I immediately got on prenatal care and had her at seven and a half months. It was a big shock, but my fiancee' and I couldn't have anything better. I was sixteen when we had her. Now I'm eighteen and in college and she is two and my fiancee' is twenty and nothing could be better. Plus we are getting married in June when he comes home from the Army. So we are extremely happy.

i was 17 when i had my first baby, his dad was 21 and he was a sometimes father..when he had nothing else to do, he'd take stephen for visits.My second child was born when i was 19, and again, her father and i broke up before i gave birth , but he at least was very involved in her life.My kids are now 19 and 17 and im 37. i think im one of the youngest moms of all my kids friends.I had another baby when i was 30, there is an age gap there, but i think it made my kids closer to each other..the older ones look out for the baby.I did not finish high school but did get my ged.I work as a nurses aide and would like to go to school for my rn.My 17 yr old will be starting college in the fall at ub and is taking the rn program there. very proud of her!

Hi, Alina here. I had my first son at age 19. I now have three wonderful kids and a great husband who took on the responsibility of helping me raise my son 18 years ago. We've been married for 15 of those years and my oldest son considers him Daddy because his biological father is a deadbeat.

I was 16 when got pregnant with my first 17 when had him 18 when pregnant with second and 19 when had him. Their dad is the same age as me we have been together for four years now (since we were both 16) and we are now engaged he is a really great dad and i know i am very lucky that he stuck by me and supported us when we were both so young, I am planning to go to collage of education for early childcare teaching next year. I live in new Zealand.

My husband and I got married early - we were already committed to getting married, so we decided it was better to live life together. When we got married, I was 18 and the hubby was 20. Our plan had been to wait 3 years before having kids, but God must have thought we said "months". Our son was born the next year, 19 days before our anniversary. My husband and I are still together, and we live in ID. I stay at home, and have since the second month of my son's pregnancy. (I have really, horribly bad "morning" sickness that lasts the entire pregnancy, and all day and night, when I'm pregnant.) It's part my convictions, and part smarts - if I were to work outside the home, all I would do was make enough to barely cover daycare, so there's not really any point to that.



I had finished high school, and was just considering starting college when the first surprise bundle of joy arrived - I still will do it, but right now it's out of the question. We had a second surprise, our daughter, come to us in 2009. I"m waiting until the kids are older, and my husband is done with school, before starting college. :)

i think you have a really valid point and should shout it to as many teens as you can but here the girls have already got kids, u need to find another way. i have 2 kids n love them 2 death im 23 this yr but honestly i sometimes feel like grabbing ppl at the shop n shaking them n saying just wait. my husband is still here n things are great and i know when my kids are grown i will still be young enough to go live my life but i just wish ppl did know what having kids young does to your life. I think even to have had a 21st would have been great. I do believe our soles come back many times to learn different things so i guess maybe its a lesson anyway all the best

I was 19 when i fell preg turned 20 a week after he was born, dad was 23, i was in tafe finished my diploma b4 i had him, got married to the father a yr later n had another baby 10 months after that 2 boys, hopefully we wall fall preg in 4.5 months n that will be he last baby in our little family, hopefully a boy but im not fussed. We have our own home, we own 2 cars i stay home with the kiddies and dad works for a largely disliked company lol!. we live in Australia in Perth

My kids father and I got together when i was 14 and he was 17. I got pregnant when i was 15 and had my son when i was 16 and the father was 19. I graduated from high school. I had my daughter when i was 20 and the father was 23 and graduated from medical assisting school. we stayed together for 7 years but then split. We didnt practice good communication and trust. We still care for our children but are not together.

I met the "love of my life" and moved in with him at 15. He was 20. Got pregnant and had my daughter at 16. We were together for 7 years, and had a beautiful boy when I was 20 and attending school. Our relationship fell apart after I started back at post secondary. We had a very nasty split up. He hasn't been much help, but has continued to be in his kids lives, kind of. Anyways, I'm three months to graduation with a beautiful 7 year old, and an adorable 2 and a half year old. It just shows it's possible, it's just how committed we are :)

I'm Melissa. I got prego at 18 had my son at 19 he is now six months old and I am now 20. The daddy stayed with us, and he is now 19. We met in high school, and then started college together. I got mono in my first semester and had to quit, a couple months after that is when I got pregnant. The daddy is still in college and will graduate this year. He stays at school during the week and comes home on weekends. I currently live with my parents and work part time. When he graduates we will be moving to the seacoast region of NH where he already has a full time job with a house. I will most likely do some babysitting when we move, so that I can keep the baby with me while I work.

I was 17 when I got pregnant, my boyfriend was 20 we both had a birthday and then my son was born. I graduated from my high school and am currently enrolled as a full time student in a Catholic college (which is unfortunately a 100-mile round trip commute daily). I have three years left to get my BSN and then 33 credit hours for my masters. I work part time at the assisted living facility in my hometown in Iowa--and I LOVE IT :) Just recently my boyfriend and I split, so I'm living with my parents for the time. I'm very fortunate to say my ex does an excellent job with my son and is very much a part of his life! We hope to remain friends and share birthdays and holidays together with our son.

I was 18 when I had my first child, 19 when I had my second child then 46 when I had my last child. I got divorced 7 years after I had my first two children and remarried. My second husband didn't have any children. I did not use any fertility drugs or artificial insemination. I now have a 38, 37 and 10 year old. I love it!

have been with my partner 6yrs now, since i was 15 and he was 22. had my 1st baby at 19 (planned it) and am now 21 and partner is now 28 and we are going 2 start tryn 4 another in a munth or so. My partner is the greatest and everything in our household and relationship is very 50/50, we have never or will ever go 2 bed angry or upset about something, wich is probably y we are so happy!! of course we still bicker about stuff but doesnt go very far.i live in New Zealand, have lost alot of freinds in the process but have now gained alot of different and more true friends. just wanna say that here in NZ we are nowhere near as worried or strict about skool and alot of us leave skool from 16 and some go on 2 uni but its very relaxed here compared 2 the US.we just get regular jobs and live of it quite comfortably but then again our min wages start frm around $13 nowhere near the $7 an hr ive heard of mc donald workers gettn over there! lol anyway i am about 2 start working 4 a home based childcare company at my home and in about 5 yrs time when my son is in skool and the next child in kindy, il go 2 uni 2 b a midwife. we dont have 2 save 4 college funds either over here we just get student loans and pay them off throughout our lives and wen wer dead sos the dept. anyway just think the USA is strange in some ways sometimes haha, no offence intended.

With my first son I was 16, his father my husband of now nearly 9 years was 24. We were blessed with a second son. I gave birth to him one month before my 18th b-day, and daddy turned 26 one month before he was born. I made every effort to stay in school, but I was being pulled in too many directions so I got my GED. Returned to college at 19. Took a few years off to be a SAHM. Returned back to school again Fall 2008. Earned my A.A. degree last year and currently seeking my bachelors. My oldest son turned 8 in Jan. and my youngest son will be 7 in June. Its been a long hard road, but truly rewarding. I am very blessed!

I had my first daughter at the age of 17 (I was 16 when pregnant). The father was the same age and we lived in Arizona. I was on homebound/homeschooling for 5 weeks after my c-section delivery and then returned to school and graduated with my class. During my senior year, not only did I graduate, but I held a full-time job in retail plus raised my daughter. The father and I got married the week after I graduated, but the marriage only lasted 2 years. We were both too young and naive and I honestly think that the only reason we got married was because of the baby. His parents pressured me to drop out of school and get married immediately upon finding out about the pregnancy, but I refused to do so. I had to graduate high school first. I do not regret doing what I did and the sequence in which I did it.

My name is Regan... I was 15 when I feel pregnant and 15 when I had her... I turned 16 a week later. Her father was 17, and turned 18 a month after we had her. Her name is Lainey Ellizabeth and she is now 2. I am 18... and her father is in and out of her life. She has a step-mother and two sisters... But I can tell you... I am glad he isnt my husband.
