went to the e.r yesterday my 3month old daughter (this sunday)is sick. she has rvs or rsv. something like that. it's a cold that causes problems with her respiratory system. i feel so bad for her u can barely hear her cry cuz she got a sore throat, a bad horn cough, sneeze, throw up, runny/stuffy nose and she hasn't been eating a lot and her temp is around 100.2 degrees f...:^(



so if u know anyone who has a cold make sure that u keep your child away from them because that's how my daughter got it. someone passed it to her. it's a bad infection going around. just wanted to warn you guys..

My daughter was admitted to the hospital yesterday (she is less then a week shy of being 5 months old) because she would cough really hard then vomit and stop breathing, we found out she has RSV as well, we were discharged today, it was scary!

My nearly three month old is going through the same thing right now. The doctor can't give him anything and sometimes he turns blue when he coughs. It was my fiance's nephew that gave it to him, though I told him millions of time when he's sick he shouldn't be in the babies face. They thought he had RSV but it didn't go away and is still there after two weeks.

i know ur pain my son was 10 weeks old when he was hospitalized with bronchitis and rsv he spent 2 weeks on oxygen and a drip he's now almost 3 and has to have a puffer when its cold or there are flues around i hope she gets better but keep in mind that because their such a young age with the virus they can have problems with asthma later on like my son. hope shes better soon...

I guess i am one of those lucky moms. my son never got sick tell the day he turned 7 months and it was with roseolla. i hope you baby girl starts to feel batter. its hard when u feel like you can do anything. also a humidfire may help with the stuffy nose. and lavander oil may help her sleep better at night.

good luck! My son got it when he was about 3 months and it caused problems with his breathing until he was almost 3. If she gets another cold be sure to watch and as soon as you see a cough start go to the doc and don't take the whole "there is nothing we can do" speech. Ask for a nebuliser if necessary. We would have to use one every time my son got a cold because of the build up of crap in his lungs. Hopefully you will be lucky and not have to deal with this on an ongoing basis.

my daughter spent 5 days in hospital with rsv, now is on puffers and still coughs ocasionally, and that was a month ago

thanks.. its so stressful she's been crying a lot all night... she keeps getting worse that's what the doctor said its gonna get worse by the fifth day. :^( if she gets any worse ima become a zombie lol
