I had my daughter the natural way, but with an epidural. Well, technically with two epidurals, since they messed the first one up. =X
Completely painless delivery and I was fully healed & back to looking better than I did before pregnancy in about two weeks.

I had an emergency C-section. The numbing medicine for the epideral caused my blood pressure to drop which caused my daughters heart rate to go way up. They finally said if she gets over 200 that we would have to go and get her out. Because it was an emergency I didn't get to have my then boyfriend (now husband) in the room with me and I didn't get to see my daughter till the NEXT DAY!! Not even get to see her before the took her out of the room. She ended up with a bruised face because as she was coming down it wasn't the top of her head facing out but her face! She was in the NICU for 2 weeks strengthening her lungs.

natural... but almost c-section. she came out butt-first and they had started prepping me for a c-section, but one of the doctors came in and offered to deliver the baby vaginally because he had delivered babies this way before. I agreed because I really did not want to have a c-section.

I had my baby girl natural birth, althought she was born on the opperating table coz they thought she was going to have to be c-section, the idea of a c-section broke my heart, lucky I was able to give birth naturally.

Mine was an emergency C-section :( -- My baby was preterm she was ready and then when it was time to come she changed her mind lol.
My daughter was 10 weeks early and weighed 3 lbs on the dot. It was really scarey, I didn't even know I was in labor, the pain wasn't as people explained to me, it only felt like back pains I mean it didn't feel good but it wasn't the WORST pain I've been in, but everyone is different.

Hayden's due date was dec. 23. I was induced Dec 17 and 39 hours later I had to have a c-sectin because he was dropped low enough, but come to find out i would've had to have a emergency c-sectin because his umbilical cord was in a really tight knot

I had to have a c-section with my daughter. After 24 hrs of active labor i was stuck @ 2cm. So, they preped me for my c-section...and 13 mins after they began, my daughter was born!!! (I was hoping for a natural birth though...it just didn't happen that way)

emergency c-section. we were spine to spine, i got to 7 cm with nothing at all, but i was put on a drip because my contractions stopped once they'd taken me in labour ward. they attempted to do an epidural but weren't successful so tried another 2 times and it still didn't work! so they tried a spinal block which didn't work again! eventually got a spinal block working when they took me into theatre!

i had my little girl by c section as she was breech it is definatly not somthing i would choose to do it is so painful and because she was c section she had fluid on her lungs, they took her from me and i couldnt see her for 10 hours after she was born cause she was in the special care unit. it was horrific not being able to see her when i couldnt move and all the other ladys in the ward were bringing their babys in. i was in tears!!!

i had my daughter naturally with no drugs and for me it hurt sooo much but in the end it was all worth seeing her face . but being in labor for three days was the worst thing that happened to me i wouldnt wish that on anyone my contractions were 2 minutes apart for 3 days straight and they kept me home.

c section - was 6 days late, water broke, waited 12 hrs, induced for 11.5 hrs after, no dialation or labour whatsoever.
wasnt as bad as people make it out to be. i would do it again if it came down to it.

I had both of my kids through c-seation. With my son(the 1st one) was an emergency because his heart rate wouldn't recover from me pushing. The doctors later said that I wouldn't have been able to push him out any way because he was too long and i was too short(he was 22 1/4 in long and im only 5ft). And then with my daughter the doctors just thought it was best to go with a c-seation. Both of them were healthy and strong.

It is a generalization that write that most doctors won't deliver by c-section unless it s necessary. Obs are trained surgeons. Sometimes it is necessary, but often it isn't and the rate has skyrocketed. Sometimes it is selfish and sometimes it isn't. You can do the right thing for the wrong reason. I had two babies, one in the hospital, one at home with a midwife and I did not have any pain-relieving drugs. I had a good hospital experience-my mother had worked for decades as a RN on that ward but the home birth was amazing.

mine was emergency c-section...i dilated 5cm and my daughters heart rate was going down they were gonna let me push her out but i since i was only 5cm she wasn't gonna fit. and my c-section was the worst i felt everything on my left side.. a week after i caught an infection and they had to reopen me on top twice, but thank God im finally healing...

I wanted my all mine to be natural with no drugs. However, they had to induce my labor with my first and then twelve hours of labor later I had to have a c-section. I was so scared. Then 11 months later I had my second baby and they don't give you a choice, they made me ahve a c-section. I still wish I could have had them naturally. But if I had to have a c-section again I would request staples over stitches.

I wanted a vaginal birth, but I had a C-section. I don't think it was an emergency. There was just no other way to get her out because my birth canal was too narrow for her to pass through. My daughter was a healthy girl no problems no complications. Just a little ahead of her time. A smart little girl she is .

seemed like everyone on here had their babies natural so i thought i would reply. i had my daughter through C section. It was an emergency c section. i had been in labor for 20 hours and was only 8 cm dialated. and since i have a tilted urterous they didnt think i would be able to push her out even if i ever made it all the way to 10 cm.

I went in hoping for natural child birth but that was impossible, since I had no labor pains, my water didn't break even though they tried to make me go into labor using IV , but my son didn't want to come out and instead of going down he was going up and also he was tied up with the cord, sooo eventually I had a C section.

emergency c-section. The doctor said that my placenta stopped growing and he was running out of fluid and space. There was a chance that he could pass away if he wasn't born right away. The doctor also told me that I more than likely wont be able to have kids naturally cause my cervix is really really high and it could cause a lot of problems.
