i agree, i think the first birthday party is more for the adults. i had a party at home that was toy story themed as that was his favorite movie. we didnt play games or anything but cake and presents filled in the time. it was fantastic and he had a great day.

I say when they are that young just to have a party at home with friends and family..Cause at one they really can't do much anyway
